By the same token, are you supposed to be selling your bikes on this thread? Is there not another thread expressly for that purpose? Just sayin'.

This is a thread identifying C&V deals for people looking who may be looking for them. It is not a for sale thread -there is a separate thread for that.

Oh.....well, it was $225 at the time I posted the link. I guess they figure if you can afford them buggers, you can afford some hoods and the requisite tool....hehe.

Gotta admit, those are pretty to look at, though.

That French guy on Ebay knows good stuff when he sees it. Here is a very pretty NOS Chesini X-Uno Frame painted like one of those candy store jobs in a Chesini catalog.

Yes and thank you for that. Your friend and I both benefited so the good deed was not one sided. Look, I have no quarrel with you personally. You stated an opinion and so did I. If it is OK to put a FOR SALE ad to sell your bikes in the signature field on this thread then I stand corrected. It just looks like an ad to sell your bikes and I thought we could not do it that way here. Please remember, you began this banter by saying we should not discuss parts on this thread. I thought differently. Time to move on.

BTW, here is what that DS track bike looks like now.

No biggie. The bike looks good.

Signatures are a free-for-all btw. You can pretty much put whatever you want in them.

Yeah, a bike with brifters for that much surely won't last half a day, but I thought since it is in prosper you may still have a shot at it. People may not want to drive that far.

Wish it was near houston though. gah..
