'88 not a '98
And if he gets $700 I may sell mine. They are rare though.

Carbon Trek Road Bike ,Older model - $500 (North Fort Wayne)

Reply to: sale-tve3f-2339535655@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Older Trek 2100 Carbon Fiber Bicycle all original except handlebar tape. My wife rode this about half a dozen times, and decided on an Electra Townie. It is a 52cm frame and probably fits somebody between 5'5" and 5'9", but body builds vary. 700c wheels Sun Matrix rims, Shimano RX100 (similiar to 105 and Ultegra) gearing, cranks, and brakes. Down tube SIS shifters with 7speed cassette rear and 2 chain wheels at crank.
The frame was made by Easton, carbon fiber main tubes with Easton aluminum fork. Natural carbon color and silver-gray accents. Made in USA! https://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/B...2100&Type=bike
See pictures.

Three '84 trek touring bikes up on Ebay with buy outs. 420, 520, 620. Looks like a tour company cleaned out the basement.

I'll be the first to admit, my eyes aren't dialed in like most the guys on this forum. But I'm finding an excuse for me to not want this bike... so I'm going to keep thinking its a 56 even though you own three and are probably right. hehe
