If you're between 6'5" to 6'10" and want an aluminum road racer, this is a great value.
Cannondale Series 3.0 Aluminum frame (66cm or 26") in Red with Shimano components and Mavic Rims.
Bike is late 1987 but just tuned up. You'll have to go carbon fiber to get lighter. My bad back forces sale... will trade for mountain bike.
Some wear but doesn't affect performance.

I'm selling a beautiful Schwinn Paramount Tandem. This bicycle was custom-made for a couple in the late seventies, and I and my wife are the third owners. We love this bike so much we rode away from our wedding on it. That's how special this bike is. However, it's time for another couple to own it, somebody who doesn't have a newborn and can maybe spend more time riding this lovely piece of machinery instead of just admiring it. Also it's the wrong size for my partner and me - ideally you'd be in the 5'6 to 6' range in the front (captain), and the 5 to 5'5 range in the back (stoker) positions.

The specs don't disappoint, if you're into that kind of thing:
- Custom-made fillet-brazed orange frame in great condition (but not mint condition - people have been riding it for forty years).
- Campagnolo drivetrain, shifters, seatposts, headset, bottom brackets, hubs and pedals.
- Mavic rim in the front. Weinnman rim laced to no-name hub in the back - clearly an after-market fixup.
- Nitto Technomic stem with Velo-Orange Porteur Handlebars and Tektro silver inverse brake levers.
- Front and back handlebars wrapped and shellac'ed in white cotton tape by yours truly.
- Fenders to keep some grit off the frame (not quite big enough to keep much off your back).
- There's even a Jim Blackburn rear rack on there (from when Jim was still making those racks).
Ideally you'd come pick it up in Dorchester (and ride it away). I'm convenient to the Red Line. Delivery can be arranged if that's the only way for you.

This is a mens Trek Elance 12 speed road bike. Very good condition including new tires and tubes, new chain, new brakes (cables and pads) new handle bar tape and a new saddle. It is very lightweight and fast. It has a 23" frame with a 33" standover height. At 5'9, I rode it fine but its likely better suited for someone taller (5'10 to 6'+.

I sold that exact bike but mine had the original fuji seat and in a little better condition for $250 last month. I guess I went to low? Paid $15 for it lol.
Somebody needs to create a database of listing prices for used bicycles on craigslist, so if you go searching for a bicycle you can look up it's I'll call "Sheldon Black Book Value" and find the median price for all the listings so you never overpay for a bicycle. Bazam.

Too bad about the paint job on the Hornet. I'm not sure it's worth his asking price without original paint -but still a pretty bike.
