Someone might need one of the parts in there. He sells his junk for a couple of bucks and then makes a couple more off shipping. One less pile-o-crap...

You would think he could just pay a visit to the scrap metal dealer.

If you're looking for a 'Dale tourer for a shorty.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/bik/2744815209.html

This is a 92 Cannondale T600 Touring Bike aluminim frame(Made in USA) 21speed index shifter on the downtubes. Not sure about exact weight, but I would say no more then 25 lbs, maybe less. Chain Rings are 50-40-30. Rear Gears I believe are 14-32. The gearing works very well going up hill with load and the taller gears seem about right. I have easily hit 45mph going downhill without even pedaling. Its a very fast bike for a touring bike. It has an Exage 400 LX group. 700C Sun Mistra aluminim wheels made in USA. Bike wheels have been greased and trued. Tires are 28's and are like new with Presta valves. Comes with Cantilever brakes for better stopping with loads. Recent cork bar tape. Comes with Rack in back and has eyelets for rack in front and back. Comes with two water bottle holders and can put one more under downtube near bottom. This is a 57CM and fits me perfect. I have 30 inch inseam. I only took a couple 30 mile trips with this bike, so it hasn't seen a whole lot of use. Really rides smooth and shifts very easy. I looked at the Cannondales at REI for $2400 and they don't look much better then this one. A few more speeds, but frame is very similar. I got another touring bike so I'm looking for another owner.

Yet another glorious deal in the great state of Massachusetts. Apparently, everyone buys high end road bikes to eventually sell for pennies. Right, Rocket-Sauce?!
==================================================================================================== =======================

Miyata 1400A bike with tri setup-Size 48
Shimano 105 components and Wolber wheels. The shifters have been moved to the aero bar ends. Comes with an extra set of wheels and white Look pedals (not shown in pictures). This would be a good starter choice for someone just beginning to do triathlons. NO RESERVE. Shipping estimate is for continental US only. Shipping estimate is based on Boston to Chicago. Pick-up is an option too.

Someone bid on this so I don't have to. Repainted top-end Frejus frame from the 50s with "upgraded" parts. The current $110 is a steal.

1985 Miyata 610 19" Triple Butted Touring Bike - $450 (Clintonville)

This is a great bike for fully loaded touring. Great for commuting too. See pictures and specifications at https://www.miyatacatalogs.com/2007/1...g-1985_07.html
The ride is smooth for such a strong frame. Price is firm as one just like it sold on ebay for same price last year.

Apparently the same seller--have no idea how he came up with this price. Nice bike, but $700 is in the stratosphere, IMO.

Mint 1985 Raleigh Kodiak 19" On/Off Road Touring Bike - $700

I purchased this from someone who told me this bicycle was won in a contest and never ridden more than a few miles. I only put 10 miles on myself. You can see original catalog and specifications at https://sheldonbrown.com/retroraleigh...5/pages/2.html As far as I can tell it's all original. I added Kevlar tires, but have the original tires and tubes with no wear evident. I also added the fenders and had it professionally set up and new brake cables and housings were installed. This is a triple butted frame made for off road fully loaded touring.
