I would like to own a steel lugged Serotta. It was difficult to walk away. I flipped a 56cm a year ago and it was truly sweet and too small.
I am patient and will probably wait for a better example and pay the going rate. If I am going to own it for a very long time I don't think I could stare at all the paint chips on the top tube. He now has a $900 price on it FWIW.

According to the Waterford website, this means it was the 32nd frame built in September, 1979
Seat tube length, center BB to top of Top Tube is 64cm (25 inches)
Top tube length center to center is 60cm (23.5 inches)
Chainstay length is 43cm (17 inches)
This is a frame for a tall rider.
Reynolds 531 tubing, Campagnolo drop outs front and rear
The frame has no damage, dings or dents and is straight.
Decals are worn
The paint is in fair condition, with a good number of scrapes and scratches, this is a perfect candidate for complete restoration
Nice lugwork, Nervex lugs are not chromed.
Have you noticed frames on Ebay with the seat post still inserted? The seat posts are seized, you can almost bet on it.
The difference here is that I am telling you this up front so there will be no surprises.
I have priced this frame accordingly, this is a chance to get a great Reynolds 531 hand built frame at a reasonable cost.
There are numbers of articles addressing removal tricks and techniques, it isn't the end of the world. :-)
The rear wheel adjusters are straight and work freely.

I have a vintage 1970's, not sure of the year I think its a 1972, Womens Raleigh Record 10 speed. In excellant condition The bike might need a front

tire, the tire thats on there appears to be in good shape its the original tire, it holds air but has a very small leak. I would say you would have to put

air in it every month or so, so its a small leak. I have a brand new in the box never opened tube I'll throw in. So you would just have to get a front

Mid-80's Fuji Opus III up for sale (unsure of exact year). Will need a little work to get it road-ready, but it will fly once it is. These bikes are great for collectors or racers who like vintage bikes. Very light steel frame (size 61). I am 6 feet exactly, and it's slightly big for me but worked. Would be ideal for someone 6'1 to 6'4. Was going to fix this bike up for road racing but have decided to stick with my mtn. biking. The Opus III was a high-end racing bike back in its day and can still be today. Has SunTour Superbe derailleurs (very good) and Mavic (made in France) tubular wheels. Will need new tires, as these don't hold air. Most unique feature, and very rare, is the PowerCam crank. If you know 80's racing, you know what these were. Designed for flat areas (does not work well in mountainous/climbing areas). The teeth count on the PowerCam is 60/44. The thing is HUGE. Will allow you to pass any bike on the road if surface is flat. The rear cassette has 6 rings (teeth count: 13 through 18). Obviously, this set-up was made for racing in Florida, but it can be updated for hillier regions of course. Will also include the original crank that came with the bike (53/42). The derailleur for the PowerCam is not installed, as it's not designed for a crank that big. Note that I am no bike expert, but I know enough to give you as accurate a description as possible. Please respond with any further questions, and I'll do my best.

I been working on that one for over a month. He first posted it asking $400. Bike came out of Florida and its been rode a LOT. The underside of the top tube is rusted up from sweat and it involves the top cable guide(s) from the picture he sent me. The wheels are not original to the bike. Thats a 83 that came with the gold wheels. The dacals are chewed up.

Its going to take a complete rebuild, tires or wheels if you want clinchers, possibly a new guide brazed on if not the top tube (those were really thin) and a full paint to regain its former glory. I have an offer in but he hasn't excepted before I saw the picture of the top tube. I'm not offering a dime more then I already have. To me the value was the frame and with the paint and rust issue its not worth more then what I have offered. To be fair to him I wont disclose that offer.

I haven't actually put my hands on it but I'm of the belief that its really high miles and that it has drive train wear to match.

Hey craigslist I have a bridgstone RB-1 for sale because I don't really ride track anymore, I'm looking for fgfs related parts. If you don't have fgfs parts $200 o.b.o. will take the bike. The bike has 2 small dents that I know of, decal is 6/10 still there, a couple of scratches nothing big.
