Schwinn Traveler 10 speed bicycle
Good condition, could use new inner tubes + tires.
But can ride as is.
No kick-stand

I'm thinking that it's gas pipe with a cotterless Nervar crankset added later? Valentino derailleur and pie plate points to low end...

1975 Eisentraut touring frameset, 63cm, handmade in Oakland - $700 (berkeley)
Date: 2012-04-01, 2:03PM PDT
Reply to: dp2qn-2934713807@sale.craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
This is a 1975 Eisentraut touring frameset. I've used it as my daily rider for around 6 months now. I like it, alot, but it's time to move on to something else.
This frame was designed and handmade in Albert Eisentraut's shop at 2200 Adeline in Oakland. Albert Eisentraut is considered to be the godfather of American framebuilders and also one of the greatest framebuilders of our times. Many framebuilders who currently have their own shops made frames in under Albert including Bruce Gordon, who made this frame.

The frame has zero dents or dings, but has a handful of paint nicks and scrapes. The color is an amazing translucent grey-silver that changes color from dark pewter to purplish in depending on the lighting and your viewing angle.

58cm top-tube center to center
63cm seat-tube center to center
Beautiful Nervex hand-carved lugs
Front and rear fender and rack eyelets as well as upper braze-on rack mounts
Lightweight double butted steel, probably Reynolds 531

I will include the Campagnolo Record headset with the frame and fork.

Other parts that I can include to make it a complete bike:
-Dura-Ace 7402 172.5mm cranks
-Velo-orange sealed bearing bottom bracket (for the above cranks)
-Suntour Cyclone Mk. 1 rear derailleur
-Suntour Cyclone Mk. 1 front derailleur
-Nitto dynamic stem
-Nitto handlebars
-Mavic Open 4 CD rims laced to Record 1034 hubs with a 6-speed Suntour freewheel, including tires
-Suntour bar-end shifters
-Tektro brake levers
-Jim blackburn rear rack

I'll bundle everything above for an additional $500.

So the complete would be $1200.

Email if you have any question and would like to see pictures.

Thanks!

Who wants a gigantic Voyageur? https://dayton.craigslist.org/bik/2936025700.html

1980's Schwinn Voyageur 11.8 bicycle. 12 speed road bike. It has 6 rear sprockets and 2 large front sprockets. Made in Japan and everything is all original with nothing modified. There are lots of brand name components. Please see the pictures for more details. The frame sticker states: "Double Butted 4130 Chrome Moly Tubing" (Top and Bottom Tubes). The serial number was researched and looks to be made in 1981.

The front Schwinn logo badge has a number of 3621 on it. The rims are 27" and the original logos and decals look to be in good shape except the lower right bottom bar has a decal that has mostly come off. The pedals have metal foot holders. The wheels have the original reflectors on them. The seat looks to be in good shape. The rims do look to be corrosion and rust free and the tires do look to be in good shape also.

The bicycle measures 36" from the ground to the top of the top bar, 25" from the front handle bar tube to the rear seat tube in the middle of them both and 27" from the pedal housing middle area up to the seat tube top area.

The bicycle is in good condition with only a few scratches and scuffs with minimal surface rusting in just a few frame areas. The wheels do spin mostly straight but they are off just a little from being perfectly straight.
The brake levers on the handle bar have some black tape wrapped around them but they do seem to operate just fine. The tires do seem a little low on air with the rear tire almost flat and not sure if they hold air when they are filled up all the way.

$325 Cash Only.

57 cm Lotus Pro Series 3000R - $130 (Cambridge / Harvard Sq)

Date: 2012-04-02, 6:19PM EDT
Reply to: jkcwc-2909720545@sale.craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
Hi, I am selling a Lotus Pro Series 3000R road bike that originally purchased for a fix gear conversion. It is a full bike, for the most part. All it need is handlebar tape and a pair of tubes to get it back on the road again. The tires are still in great shape with plenty of tread left. However, it does not hold air, so you will need to get a new pair of tubes. Also I just realized I misplaced the rear skewer. . . Judging from the deep (2.54cm) horizontal dropouts, it is a great candidate for a fix gear conversion. The dropouts are forged rather than stamped.

Here is some info on the bike, let me know if the list is missing any particular information you need. PLEASE put PRO-SERIES 3000R in the subject field when inquiring. IF THE AD IS STILL UP THEN THE BIKE IS TILL AVAILABLE!!! Thanks for looking.
Down tube = 57cm
Frame = Tange Triple Butted Cr-Mo
Brakes (F & R) = Suntour Blaze
Derailers (F & R) = Suntour Blaze
Wheel size = 700 x 28c
Front wheel = Shimano 105 Hub, Wobler Super Champion Alpine rim
Rear wheel = No markings, but it's an aluminum wheel
See pictures below for the rest.

Gotta look carefully sometimes. I'm a little leery of this one. Repaint? Striping around lugs looks messy. New decals?

Check out the back brake, needs a drop bolt.

Rear brake:At first I am like what the heck are you talking about? I looked at the last picture and the other closeups and the brake looks more or less OK, then I look at the more overall bike pictures and say "Oh". Obviously he adjusted the brak.

I don't know anything about the correct stickers. Obviously this is a complete rebuild. Paint does look crappy around the lugs. Sort of makes you wonder anyway.

Up for grabs is a vintage Schwinn Deluxe Varsity Red frame, fork, and seat post.
Perfect for a vintage build for either road or fixie bike.
It does not have the Down dube shifter brackets because it came with a stem shifter that will also be given ( not pictured )

Its a Steel frame with smooth weld maks not like the newer crappy welds on the newer frames. Must see.

Perfect for a build.

You can get a brand spanking new for you custom made Hetchins frame for around $1,500...and judging by the resale value, they are one of the safest frames you can buy.

Maybe I'm picky, but for $1,800...I expect some photos that actually show me the bike in its sartorial splendour.

Masi Prestige Campagnolo 50th Anniversary

https://madison.craigslist.org/bik/2922184284.html

1983 Masi - Completely equipped with the very fine Campagnolo 50th ann. group, Bike is in immaculate condition, kept in my apartment. I purchased from the original owner, who had owned it for 19 years. He purchased it new in November of 1983 from Gus Betat & Sons in New Orleans Louisiana. The Masi frame serial number is 783. The size is xt54 cm. I am the second owner who has had the bike for 9 years and has never ridden it. The bike sits in my apartment, looking like a piece of artwork. I purchased this because I was impressed with the Masi mystique. Hand made in Italy. Signed by Carlo Masi. I have the validation of ownership card, from Campagnolo, No. 6779 This number was transferred to me on January 21st of 2003. I will transfer the number to the purchaser. Also included is Campagnolo original documentation.
Can assist with shipping at your expense.
