This might not be the right thread-sorry-but there is some guy on fresno and modesto craigslist advertising an RIH bike in mint condition for 400.00....the bike in fact belongs to a Dutch collector. I talked to the actual owner and said that the pics of the bike are actually the ones he took 10 years ago in his back yard. He recognized is yard and the unique back round. This guy on cr is obviously a crook. I hope you can take time out to flag this guy with me

This is not a 54cm. Maybe a 58cm?
==========================
[h=2]Vintage 1982 Gianni Motta Italian Racing Bicycle - $600 (West Linn)[/h]For sale is my 1982 Gianni Motta Racing Bicycle which has been lovingly restored.
Gianni Motta was born March 13, 1943 in Cassano d'Adda, Italy, and is an Italian former bicycle racer who won the 1966 Giro d'Italia .
His main victories include the Giro d'Italia (1966), a Giro di Lombardia (1964), a Tour de Suisse (1967) and two Tour de Romandie (1966, 1971).

Original chromed chain stay, and Columbus rear drop-outs

Shimano 105 rear derailieur with new Jagwire housing
Shimano 600 front deraileur (braze-on)

SR Laprade flutted seatpost
Campagnolo seatpost binder
Selle Italia Gel Flow saddle
Mavic MA40 rims with Shimano 105 hubs
Seca RS tires

Seen in a local shop:

Panasonic DX-4000--Tange 2 tubing, very nice bright-blue-and white paint job in excellent condition, Shimano 105 components. I'm guessing it's a 1987, about $200, and about a 56 cm.

I can take a picture if you want and look at it carefully.

Check out the "failed hipster" washing his hands of his not so dear fixie. Not technically a C&V but an awesome Post none the less. Luckily it's a track frame so there was no chance that he could slice the hanger off it.
====================================================================================
[h=2]Failed hipster - fixie must go - $1100 (SLO)[/h]I tried so hard. I dated a girl from Portland. I criticized cheese. I applied the term artisanal to every inanimate object that went in or on my body. I burned and singed my forearms just to make it look like I was going to culinary school. I grew Carol Brady hair. I got itchy from the finest flannel and I cut off circulation from the waist down with jeans that made my ass look like an elevator button.

. . .And I rode a fixie.

No more. It's all gotta go. The hair, the macrame, the texting overages, the Netflix and Hulu Plus. The record collection (have you ever tried to box up and move an effin stack of LPs?!) . . .and the bike. Pictured below is the bike. It's beautiful. It's got red rims. Red chain. Red tires. Red handlebars shaped like devil horns -- because it's the devil.

The guys at the hipster store don't tell you fixes don't stop. So I will. Fixies don't stop. Stop sign? Fixie don't care. Car coming turning in front of you at a three-way stop? Fixie laugh. Want Chipotle? Nope. Fixie want protein powder/beet/purple carrot/bee pollen juice and won't stop till he gets it. Fixie has a mind of his own.

Yesterday, Fixie got pulled over twice by SLO PD in three hours. In six months time, Fixie collected more tickets than a scalper for a Radiohead show at Hollywood Bowl.

I'm selling this badboy and tipping the dregs of my last PBR tall boy in his memory.

The (Devil) Fixie:
Cinelli Gazzetta Frame (2011)
Crane Creek and Origin 8 components

$1,100 ($1,600 new)

Mens Shogun Road bike size 24.5" (62CM) frame. Bike is in immaculate condition and has no issues. Tires hold air and have good tread but have slight weathering. Wheel size is a 27"x1" wheel. Can be converted to 700c with some work. The frame is a double butted Tange 900 Cromo very light for the age and very strong. 12 speeds with full Shimano series components. Shifts nice and smooth. Great bike for retro change or conversion or just to enjoy. Email with phone number and I will call when I can. I am willing to deliver with a good offer.

Thanks for looking.

Man he got flagged. Funny post. And I moved a stack of LPs a few times when it wasn't the hip thing to do.
