I think it's still too high with no saddle/post, some surface freckles and diacompe brakes, but he's dropped the price $500 over the past 2 months and he might be ready to deal.

This beautiful bike is a great racer as well as a piece of history. For decades America's leading competition and custom bike, the Paramount represented the ultimate aspiration of every young American racer and bike builder. From its introduction in 1938 to the final bikes of the 1990's, the Paramount advanced both the art and science of bicycle design and craftsmanship, as Waterford has continued in its own history.

Paramount burst on the scene in the late 30's and enjoyed phenomenal sales, only to be nearly snuffed out by World War II. After the war, interest in racing and fine bicycles waned until the late 50's. This bike was built in June 1973 during Paramount's Classic Years - between 1958 through 1979 - when Paramount dominated the US pro bike scene and inspired many a racer and builder.

This amazing bike is Number 100 in 1973 and was a special order bike from Schwinn, as the all-chrome Paramount was not one of their standard offerings at that time.

Wish that was close to me. Looks like the same size as my Opus and in better shape to boot. Shipping would make the cost more then I paid for my complete bike.

Edit:
I'm dropping the guy a line to see if he will ship but if he wont Anybody able to facilitate?

Can someone in CNY buy this? It was $400 less than a week ago. There's probably $75 in saddles alone.

Do these brakes have the wrong hardware? It seems maybe a cap nut is missing.

Very Pretty I wish this was smaller, but it it was it would not still be $200

7 digits means 1970's and I just bought the identical bike for $75 - no, wait, actually mine is in much better shape and only missing the seat and the pump - 32 pounds.

Nice Lemond at a fair price:

[h=2]Lemond Tourmalet 56-57 Ultegra,Selle Italia,Mavic Rims - $400 (Spokane)[/h]

Date: 2012-07-07, 6:21PM PDT

Completely rebuilt Lemond Tourmalet chromoly (Reynolds 525) 56cm frame, hand-built in USA. It has a long stem and fits more like a 57.
Great all arounder roadie suitable for club rides, centuries, light touring. Comfortable ride of steel in a well performing bike.

Asking $400 based on the following (parts not available individually):
Wheels: $100 (Red Mavic rims, red nipples, Specialized Armadillo Tires)
Groupset: $200 (full Ultegra group)
Frame and everything else: $100 (Selle Italia Saddle, handlebars, platform pedals)

Found this one in my dad's garage, might be worth a lot more. This older Peugeot needs some TLC, has a flat tire, but with a little help could be a great bike again. $100 OBO

I think the stock cap nut was dome shaped. I'm sure I could find one at the co-op if you need one.

sombody better snap this TI axle up

110 mm is most likely good for track

under 15 dollars as of this writing and 2.5 hours to go

(we have forumites in germany who can facilitate this)
-you will need to change your address before bidding to somewhere in eu most likely to bid.

$200 is too much money for a low-end cottered crank motobecane. I just did some quick searching and found this Miyata 710 for $180. Much better bike for less money:
