Really cool vintage bike that is in great shape and rides fantastic! This bike has a pump that snaps on to pump up tires easily while on a bike ride if needed. It also folds for easy storage and easy transport.

Not sure if this is worth anything or not, but I know some people like the aero shift levers that this appears to have (bad photo).

You mean the fact that it's a left hand drive?

That makes it extra fancy and is why it's selling at a $60 premium from its normal value.

It's the same photo as here: https://www.vintage-trek.com/Trek_galleryGM.htm but I assume that it out of laziness rather than scaminess.

[h=2]1991 Specialized Sirrus Triple 19" Frameset (velo-retro) - $150 (Davis Square)[/h]

Date: 2012-08-27, 3:22PM EDT

Up for sale is a great condition 19" C-C Sirrus Triple from the period in which the Allez and Triple were still at the top of the Specialized lineup. This is a very well made double butted and lugged frameset (built in Taiwan). It still has the original Sekai 1" threaded headset installed, which I had repacked shortly before disassembling the bike, and it is still perfectly usable, and also the original Stronglight 27.0mm seatpost will come with the bike, though you will also have the option of negotiating in a nearly NOS Shimano Ultegra aero seatpost. I had the 68mm bottom bracket shell professionally faced and chased (about $50) before building it up in its last incarnation with 2008 105 10spd equipment including an external bearing BB. What this means for you is that this frame is ready to be built up any way you like, including with a modern external bearing bottom bracket. The paint is in very good condition for a bike of this age with only a few chips, none of which have any rust as they where immediately covered, and the inside is also very clean, and was treated with Weigels frame saver shortly before being stored (there is some surface spotting in the bb shell, but I will wipe it out pre-sale).
This would be fantastic built up as a comfy weekend ride, or commuter, and my original plan had always been 650b which would be a killer setup. I am including two photos, one of the bike near stock from one of my first metrics, and one of the bike modernized (no idea why I photographed the non-drive side, sorry). Both are just to give you an idea of how you can set it up.
I have downtube cablestops, 25mm continental gatorskins, 165mm Shimano 105 compact crankset, 105 short cage rear, and more that we might be able to negotiate into a sale.
I would be open to bike related trades of: Orlieb front rollers, tubus racks, paul brakes, high end pocket knives, etc.

He's had that listed for a week or so...it doesn't present well. I might give him another week of sitting on it and offer $200 as a parts bike.
There's a nicer one...a PX-10 which looks like it's in better shape, with a Brooks, and without the Frankenstein mix, on Philly CL as well. It's located in Maryland as I recall.

I have seen that one listed in Maryland also, just over the border apparently. He's had that on for a few weeks as well if I recall.
