Nice guy who rode it 10 miles a day for the past 20 years.

He found the original seat he tucked away, and even provided the manual and original bill of sale. It's an 84, not an 87, but I'm just fine with that. I seem to attract bikes from 1984. It's not a garage queen, but in really great condition with enough little imperfections to make me feel un-guilty riding the snot out of it.

Phenomenal bike and a great story to boot. Everyone comes out happy and the bike is safely in the hands of someone who will appreciate it. Nice work, Chrome Molly!

Frame is in fairly good condition. Got a lot of use up until 10 years which was when it had it's last tune-up and has been put in indoor storage for 9 years. A fair amount of rust on spokes, a small tear on seat and tape on handles will need replacing; no upgrades

god that thing looks fast.

Priced a bit high, and the "these sell for $700 online" doesn't bode well, but I think it's worth posting.

Avoid scams and fraud by dealing locally! Beware any deal involving Western Union, Moneygram, wire transfer, cashier check, money order, shipping, escrow, or any promise of transaction protection/certification/guarantee. More info
[h=2]Miyata 610 Road Bike Great Condition - $350 (Medford)[/h]

Date: 2012-09-14, 9:38PM EDT

Beautiful Classic and collectible Miyata 610 Road bike in excellent condition. Light blue frame. Rust free. Newer Brontager Road Tires. A great riding road bike.

These bikes are very desirable for their high quality steel frames (Which are drilled rods as opposed to drawn tubing) which makes them extremely stiff and strong)

This bike is beautiful in light blue. It has a 20" frame which makes it ideal for the rider who is 5'3" - 5'7" tall.

Miyata 610's in this condition sell for up to $700 on line.

Won't last at this price!

pretty bike! $175 seems to be a decent deal, but I don't know a ton about the old Raleigh's to know. Another post I found seemed to indicate these are decent.
