Ditto on the flipping. He still has a Novara that was in my opinion under priced, but I resisted the temptation.

[h=2]1986 Schwinn Premis - 54cm - $200 (Duxbury)[/h]

Date: 2012-09-21, 8:42AM EDT

Bought this 1986 Schwinn Premis last winter from Martha's Cycles in Plymouth, MA and used it mostly in my trainer. Runs like a top. New chain and h-bar tape last winter. Selling because it's a wee bit too small for me and need to clear some space in the basement.

Stats:
SunTour Cyclone 7000 front and rear derailleurs
Dia-Compe brakes
6 speed [14-28T] cassette

Those Premis's were great bikes, but they just never caught on and under appreciated publicly, not sure why because they used a very nice frame, the Cyclone components were very positive and fast in shifting response in all gears (Suntour had the best friction system in the world), with the added benefit of being extremely reliable. Weird how all of that came to past. It's a keeper that's for sure.

If you gotta flip that Fuji, Kobe, lemme know. That might work out for my 5'6" frame.

If it's a touring bike, where are the braze-ons for racks and fenders?

My Wife told me I already bought a bike this week!! She doesn't get it

Located Springfield, MO

Vintage Peugeot Road Bike, sold as-is, as pictured. Rides and shifts great. Could use some TLC cosmetically. biggest thing is the handlebar has a bend, and the griptape is coming off. I would guess frame to be M/L. i'm 5'10" and it fits me great. $100 with pegs as pictured, $80 without pegs. All trade offers welcome, make me want what you've got.

Emails, texts and calls welcome. I will respond to every contact. If ad is up, item is still for sale.

Not really C&V but likely to still be of interest -- too big for me, but definitely cool.

Bilenky Travel Midlands touring bike frameset
Size is 56/57
S and S couplers allow bike to be fit in standard suitcase for easy travel. Size 26" wheels for a more sturdy wheel build and better handling under load.

I had this bike built custom using standard geometry from Bilenky Cycle Works out of Philly in 2007. I love this bike and have had the best rides ever on it but with an infant I don't see any touring in the near future.
FYI, the couplers themselves cost 400 and it costs at least what I am asking to get a bike retrofit with them. Anyways, contact me if this frameset interests you and I will be happy to send more pics, info or just talk about all the awesome tours it's been on.

Vintage Steel MOTOBECANE with NEW WHEELS Rides Great No Work Needed - $250 (Manayunk)

I have a lot of bicycles and this one just doesn't get any use. Bicycle was purchased in Washington D.C. and new wheels and tires were put on. Has been sitting in a garage unused for about a year now and it's time to downsize my collection.

This bike rides great and is in great working condition. The only thing a new owner will want to do is maybe wipe it down and put on new handlebar tape if that is what they fancy.

Really turns heads as this is one great looking steel frame Motobecane. This bike will reasonably fit riders between 5'2" and 5'10". Willing to meet at any point today in or around the Manayunk area. Cash sale only.

Fully Chromed Schwinn leTour 23" frame - basically never ridden so parts, everything pristine - completely gone over, lubed, adjusted, new tires.

Picture shows a modern saddle, I will include an original type saddle too.

I won this stunning bicycle but it is too small for me use. Note also the excellent bar end shifters, toe clips.
