Seems like a decent price for a Px-10 (?) coming from a shop:

I'm not sure of the year of this bike but I'm guessing late 90s? It has the Biopace front sproket, Schwinn Sport LX derailleurs, Exage brakes, and new Gatorskin tires. The bike has always been tuned and treated well. Recently I cut the ram horn bars to make a more ergonomic, bicycle messenger style look. I also added a gel seat cover. This is a great cruising/commuting bike. Additionally I'm not quite sure of the frame size. It measures 22" from the center of the crank to the top of the seat tube. I'm 5'11" and the bike is very comfortable, time to get rid of a few bikes, I tend to collect. Also includes a set of shoes and clipless pedals (Size 11). I switched to clip pedals because they were more convenient for street shoes.

Make me an offer.

[h=2]1985 Panasonic DX2000 Road Bike, Cinelli, Dura-Ace, New/Upgraded Parts - $325 (Beverly)[/h]

Date: 2012-10-17, 9:43AM EDT

'85 Panasonic DX 2000 Road Bike, Tange 900 double-butted tubing, original Bermuda Blue metallic paint, made in Japan. I am the second owner, bought it from the original owner who was a bike mechanic and had upgraded many of the components. Frame is 23 or 24" - previous owner was 5'10"; I'm 5'9" and it's slightly big for me. Drivetrain, pedals and headset are mostly Shimano 600 with a Dura-Ace rear derailleur. Cinelli stem and bars, newer bar tape, Modolo Speedy brakes, Specialized Toupe saddle (carbon fiber shell and hollow titanium rails, very light!), upgraded wheels with Weinmann/Wolber rims, and 700x23c tires. Will include box and manual for the working Si90 cycle computer. Frame is in great shape with a few small spots of paint loss and corrosion. Nice fast ride, very light for vintage steel!

Fall is the PERFECT season for bike riding - nice mild weather, not too hot. I have about a dozen bicycles available, along with wheels, tires and almost any part you can imagine. My wife wants me to clear most of this stuff out before winter! See our other listings (search for Beverly Clearance.) Bikes can be seen and test ridden in-town Beverly (North Shore, about 17 miles NE of Boston), 3 blocks (1/4 mile or less) from the Beverly Train Station. Pick up in person only, no shipping. Cash preferred, but could accept credit cards or PayPal with proper id and a signed bill of sale. Email (include some contact info so I know you're for real) or text or call 207 415-3745.

This is a 1994 Trek T100 Tandem bike in good shape. It is pretty tall, a fast and smooth bike. Very fun to ride! Only selling because my kids don't want to ride with me anymore!

I think that bike was posted earlier here out of a garage sale. Whoever bought it is flipping it.

[h=2]1971 Raleigh International frame 23.5" Reynolds 531! AWWWWEEEESSOMMMME - $175 (Inman Square)[/h]

Date: 2012-10-17, 6:04PM EDT

On offer is a 23.5" Reynolds 531 Raleigh International frame (no fork). This was going to be a winter build for me, but the ebay seller included a fork that did not fit (note: I am also selling the fork- the two do NOT work together as best as I can figure due to headset stack height requirements) and I ended up going a different direction. These bikes are legendarily awesome, and this one would be great for somebody who wants to see what the fuss is about for relatively short change. I frame saver-ed it, and the insides of the tubes look clean. The outside though is not quite so clean. The chrome is relatively decent, but the paint is beat up and there are a number of spots of surface corrosion plus a ding in the top tube. These problems are all cosmetic, and the frame will work well as a rider or for refinishing. Sizing is perfect for somebody over 6', and this frame would make a super smooth single speed conversion. Please include your phone number when replying.

That's a bit on the pricey side for a beat up frame -I don't care if it is 531. I'd be a bit high if it included the fork.

...But once you own it, your insufferable friends will burn with envy behind their white Ray-Bans. So sick, bro.
I'm actually selling this custom Nishiki Olympic 12 for my buddy who is totally famous (oh yeah, dude, he was in all kinds of bands....and not like, SPOKANE bands, I mean like Seattle and Bay Area bands...you've probably never heard of them).
I don't know dick about bikes anymore, but he did give up the following stats for this incredibly sweet midnight blue metallic sexx machine. They are as follows:

56cm Chromoly lug frame brazed by Japanese hands
Kalin (yes, like your hero chef Merril Howard Kalin) one-piece seatpost (probably magnesium or something rad)
Terry 'fly' seat lovingly crafted of supple Italian suede leather (prolly made from tender 'emo' calves) riding on manganese rails. Titanium? Puh-leeze. We've got MANGANESE now, brah...but you've probably never seen anything like that before.
Peugot fork (original geometry was a couple mm off for his tastes)
27x11/8" wheels (NOT 27C's, 'cause those are lame now)
Rear tire is a trick Michelin...made in FRANCE, son
New chain with some sweet blue paint so it doesn't look all new & poseur
Sugino 40T chainring...too busy to count rear teeth
Repacked bearings with eco-friendly grease
Flipped & cut (that should be your new band name) buckhorn-style bars...what else?
BMX-Style freewheel...I don't know if you heard that, but fixies are SO summer 2012

He says he has a new tube for the back wheel...he also says the brake is a little bit dicked up, like it doesn't seat perfectly on the rim for those quick 70 mph stops. It's not exactly showroom condition (see battle scar photo), but you'll be going so fast no one will notice. Also, the pedals are crap but you'll just put your own trick ones on, right? Oh, and the lock is awesome...just awesome.

He wants to get $150 out of it because he says that he "Sees bikes like this go for that all the time." He also said OBO...which I agreed with. You could probably get it cheaper without the lock.
Just get your dad to write a check out of your trust fund or something.

I know you're not about to let me tell you what you should and shouldn't do, but this swet machine would look really good under you when you're going to the underground record store or the nonprofit zine library or the organic co-op or wherever the f*** you guys go. Cool people will glance jealously at it outside the Baby Bar. Park it outside the art building at SFCC, even when it's really cold. Act now & I'll throw in a messenger bag full of PBR!

Since homey is too busy to bother with it, you can just text me because I know you're too cool to actually TALK on your mobile device. 509 too won seffen, won siks siks nein.

Keywords: Vintage Nishiki single speed (not a) fixie pretentious painters cap judgmental cocaine white belt arrogant cassette player Pabst K records Oly pompous Vision Street Wear existentionalism tight pants desperate need for acceptance faux leather sustainability vain cruelty-free

I'd snap these up in an instant myself, if I ran narrow clinchers. They've relisted these a couple times -- somebody buy them!
