Univega Grand Premio. Too small for me, but a nice looking C&V ride.

Same deal with the Giro d'Italia that was posted on Boston CL last week. It's still up but I never got response to my email...

You can never be sure... I once bought a nice Raleigh frame from a guy who lived on an island and went over to the library once a week to check email. It can happen... rarely...

......or they were so inundated with responses, it dawned on the sellers their prices were absurd.

Fwiw I decided to buy both of those last week but my emails were unanswered.

Same with the blue Primato in Rochester, MN that was listed locally three weeks ago.

Ready to spend like a sailor on shore leave if the right bicycle pops up.

Sold three in the last two weeks.

Yes, this was probably it. I thought of offering $700 or $800 for the orange one in Reno but, since I am not local, it seemed pointless.

I think that usually is the case, but why would they leave the ad up? I guess it just doesn't occur to people to remove it, but seems like they would continue to get emails about it. Also, if they are planning to list it at another date for more money having an old ad posted at a low price would hurt...

Good points!

There was a vey nice Serotta Legend Ti that sold locally last summer for $750.

I was second in line and had to look at that ad for four weeks before it went away after the bicycle sold.

Every time I did a search, there she was taunting me.

Two Bianchi frames a good looking MAX frame and a Ti frame with the Megatube downtube

https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=330817533353

This might be a deal since it has about 2 days left with only $12 bid so far.

I'd buy the Max framed Bianchi if it were a little larger.

Currently looking for an inexpensive Max framed "rider."

All of the action on Ebay happens in the last 5 minutes (or less) of an auction. Totally impossible to tell since anyone smart will be "sniping" the auction at the last possible second

Usually not.

But, people don't always price their bicycles correctly.

I bought that one on Weds or Thurs of last week, she must not have unposted. Unfortunately too small, but had a full Campy victory group.

Man, is this a sweet looking frame. A poor man's Cinelli Laser. The C-Record headset is probably worth $100, making this a great deal at $250 total:

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik/3373222849.html

[h=2]Zunow road frame - $250[/h]

Date: 2012-10-29, 1:18PM PDT
qjm84-3373222849@sale.craigslist.org [SUP][Errors when replying to ads?][/SUP]

56cm Steel Zunow road frame with matching fork: Painted Matte Black
Campagnolo C-Record headset (1-inch threaded)
Campy Ultra torque (english threaded cups)

This frame is built similarly to the Cinelli Laser with Aerodynamic webs brazed in at all the joints.
Its a very unique looking frame.

I was going to build it up as a project but other things got in the way.
