Pretty cool old JC Higgins/Puch from around 1960 I would guess in the Boise, Idaho area (30mi east). Check out that cool rear rack!

Know nothing about this, but interesting looking, at least. Is it worth anything like what's being asked?

Seems like a reasonable price considering the Brooks.

for short bridgestone fans in northern calfornia

92 Bridgestone RB-1 50cm - $700 (Salinas)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/bik/3379852817.html

Beautiful Bridgestone RB-1 / less than 100 miles / I doubt you'd find one in better condition / The rear derailleur and gears were swapped out at time of original purchase to accommodate lower gearing. I have a Shimano 600 RD I'll also throw in just like OEM / Avocet Racing 1 saddle newly recovered in leather / This bike is pretty flawless and would be a great ride or collector's piece / circa 1992 / 50cm / $700 I'll delete this posting when is gone.

that looks like it'd make a nice hard shell pannier. Might need to fab up some gaskets to make it waterproof, but an interesting idea.
