De Rosa vintage bike. Capmy components. Beautiful condition.
This bike was given to me as a gift a while back. I have ridden it a few times, but I am not too into riding, so it has mostly hung in a dry garage looking good. I am not in a hurry to sell, but I would rather someone own it and really ride it. The bike is in absolutely beautiful condition. The only thing I changed was the seat..... the Vetta (I think that's how it's spelled) was not comfortable for me, so I bought a new seat. Might still have the white seat, although I doubt it was original to the bike.
Truly a beautiful bike that has gotten rave reviews from anyone who has seen it that knows anything about bikes.
The paint is absolutely superb. It's pink..... a very striking pink - that I'm sure any guy would be happy to ride. It's awesome, beautiful, and for sale.Sory I cannot answer too many questions..... I am 5-10" with a 32" inseam pants, and it fits me just right.

Price reduced, $1400

I would tweak a few things, but let's face it, this De Rosa is classy.

Mrs, Gomango would strangle me though, thank goodness the bicycle is a little smallish for me.

I have a soft spot in my heart for pre-trek Lemond's. I don't know much about the Club bikes but it looks low-mid level, probably worth a couple hundred bucks that they're asking though.

Again, too small for me.
But maybe not for you!
Mid 70s Marnati. 55cm or so.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/MARNATI-Made...item3a7b9318bd
Umberto Marnati has been a legendary Italian racing mechanic of the 50's and the 60's.
In the late 40's he was main responsible - along with “Lupo” Mascheroni - of Legnano Racing Dept.
Then he went to work for Bianchi team and his captain Fausto Coppi.
Later on he was mechanic for Gastone Nencini when he won the 1960 Tour de France
as well as for several Italy's National Teams of the 60's.
He was a fine frame builder and in the 70's he opened his own shop in Milan,
still together with Lupo Mascheroni. As a bike manufacturer he made a very limited number
of high quality frames which are now most wanted among the serious vintage collectors.
Umberto Marnati's frames are easy to recognize due to a double hole cut out under
the bottom bracket as well as the shield cut out in the lugs.
UMBERTO MARNATI Corsa S, from mid-70's,
repainted in its original "champagne" color with new stickers
Frame size (center-to-center):
seat tube cm 55,5, upper tube 56,0, head tube mm 135
Equipped with its original Campagnolo Record group, pat.74
Rear derailleur 6-speed 14/24
Caimi Everest freewheel
Crankset 42/52
Seat post 27.2
Saddle Cinelli Unicanitor
Handlebar, stem 3ttt mm 110
Rims Campagnolo 36 holes
Tyres Michelin Service Course
Frame serial no. 263 (see pic #11)
Carefully checked by professional mechanic.
Shipping worldwide by fast fully insured shipment EMS International
expected to be delivered within 6/7 business days - sorry, no economy shipment available.
USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, Taiwan and any other Far East Country USD 200.00
EU Countries only USD 100.00
This is a private sale. Item is offered AS-IS and no warranty or return allowed.
The seller is not responsible for any tax or fee issued by Country of destination.

Concerning some of the recent posts.....There are some really nice bikes in Italy for much less money. I have managed to make a few connections and have found that most sellers there are in fact receptive to shipping bikes to the U.S. Check ebay Annunci as well as the ebay.it site. Shipping runs anywhere from 120.00 -150.00 euros on average. Google Translate works well for getting through the language barrier, and it is always cool (to me) when a bike box shows up from Italy !
The real bargains seem to be in the area of 'City Bikes', and you can find really cool Atala's, Bianchi's, Legnano's etc., with lots of interesting details. You won't find such deals on top level Bici Da Corsa, or racing bikes, as they are generally quite pricey, as are much of the sought after Campagnolo parts.
Just my .02 ....
Cheers,
Joe
