I'm not sure how this made it past my CL radar for a whole month. Appears to be still available.

Red Vintage Schwinn Circuit - $350 (Kalamazoo, MI)

https://kalamazoo.craigslist.org/bik/3383083258.html

1988 Schwinn Cicuit road bike with the following:
- Aluminium Columbus Tubing
- Sante Components
- Selle San Marco Concor Supercorsa Profil saddle
- Cinelli Headset
- Basket Pedals
- 54 cm Frame

Front derailer needs tuning. I hate to see it go but five bikes is one too many.

Sometimes I find myself needing to step back from the 'game' of getting the best deal possible. It's $20, but if he has more bikes, you can put yourself at the front of the line. I got my lotus like this- the guy I bought my merckx from had it in his basement, with a sale looming, but he held it for me and agreed to a great price. In fact, I've paid the asking price for just about every craigslist bike I've bought. The deals were so good there wasn't any point haggling.

Perhaps this is a little too philosophical for the craigslist thread, but sometimes it's enough of a deal that you don't know what you're giving up by saving yourself $20 in the short run.
I agree with you to a point. I'd rather see someone who's got time for it spend less on the buy and more on the restore.

Someone in Vancouver might like to check this one sooner rather than later. Small for me, and I'm not back 'til Tuesday.

(Japanese?) Bianchi with Arabesque, $200. In Vancouver's market, that's a steal if it's in nice shape. Most of the groupset is there, at least (I think I see a modern long-cage RD).

https://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/bik/3444792306.html

Bianchi - $200 (Mt Pleasant)

Selling my Bianchi as I'm moving.
I'm 180cm (6') and it fits me nicely.
It's in good condition. Needs some love, a cleaning and some fresh air in the tubes. Would be sweet with some new handle bars. I bought it like two months ago but walk to work so I haven't used it that much. And now I'm moving.
It has Shimano 600 brakes, which are very solid and considered bench mark for brakes.

I live on Main / 12th.

Asking $200 OBO.

Dammit, my size

This would be Columbus steel (SL?), not aluminum as noted?

Definitely steel- SL- and one of the nicest of a very nicely built series of Schwinns from the mid-late 80's.

There actually is a saddle maker spelled something like that.

Found it. Cionlli.

I'd be very tempted to grab the Rudge, I've always loved those chainrings (and I think that's the one wearing the dynohub...)

You push the handlebar right or left...the whole front end pivots.
