If we all pitch in on that we can pass it around and take turns riding it.

Yes, you read it right. This is serial #1, 1975. It was hand crafted by Richard Sachs. Richard built this bike for himself and raced it in the late 70's. I have photos of Richard with the bike during this period. I also have photos of the second owner when he raced it from the late 70ís to the early 80ís. I am the third owner. The frame was restored by Joe Bell Bicycle Refinishing, which is located in Spring Valley, California. If you anything about bicycle frame refinishing, then you know Joe Bell is at the top. Joe did all of the paint and metal work and Richard provided the original decals. It measures 55 cm center to top. The bike is built with period correct drilled Campagnolo components. The following quote was part of an interview with Richard Sachs 12/05/03:

Do you have your first frame that you made?
No, I sold it to a guy from Mexico. The oldest Richard Sachs frame that I can track is owned by Skip Lile in Little Rock, Arkansas. Heís a bike collector and itís the first Richard Sachs frame that I made for myself, and the 8th frame I made under my own name. He had it restored and it is in the collection now as a display piece.

Iím Skip Lile and I have cherished this bike for over 20 years. Itís hard to let it go, but I am 64 years old and itís time to pass it on. Because of its significance, I donít want to ship it. I will hand deliver it up to 500 miles from Little Rock, Arkansas. If the new owner lives more than 500 miles away, I will try to make delivery arrangements with you. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Reply to this post rvpsc-3464556375@sale.craigslist.org[SUP][?][/SUP]

Classic 80s Fuji bike. Will fit anyone 4'8-5'2

Has a unique design, the front wheel is 650 and the back wheel is 700, which makes it easier for people with short legs to ride. The bar tape and the pedals have recently been replaced. It is in great shape and I will include extra tires that I got with the bike.

Very pretty!

Those De Rosa straps are very cool.

New to me, that's for sure.

Those 3Renshos are a bit of a handful to ride, but really a blast if you stay on top of it.

Fast geo!

Seller is 6'4", methinks it was a little small for him. BTW, he says he "upgraded to carbon"! I wouldn't call that an upgrade!

Is this one of the Japanese (Panasonic?) built Paramounts? I guess it's from the 80s or 90s...
