[h=2]Gitane Mixte - $50 (Excelsior Cycle Kellogg)[/h] Powered by LeafletTerms

21 Railroad Ave.

This is a Gitane road bike with a mixte frame. The model is Grand Sport De Luxe. It has 10 speeds and 27 inch wheels. It has a 21.5 inch frame so it would fit a taller lady or average sized guy. This bike is straight and ridable as is but the mixte frame begs for you to polish it up and restore it. All equipment appears to be original. We are open weekdays during the winter and our phone number is (208) 786-3751. Excelsior Cycle is is just off of exit 51 on Interstate 90 at 21 Railroad Ave. in Kellogg. 21 Railroad Ave. (google map) (yahoo map)

This is a fantastic bike for the price. Deore DX and lugged TT frame. 17" though.

NICE CLEAN VINTAGE GIANT MOUNTAIN BIKE
I keep looking at this but I have NO ROOM for it! It seems like an OK deal and it has been for sale so long I wonder if they will take $100 cash.

Here is a smallish looking Univega Via Montega (the top of the line hybrid) which might be partly Deore equipped. Might be a great commuter.

I'd be all over this (and not posting it here) if it were a reasonable size (60-62cm). Late in the auction, of course hard to tell how high or low it will go, but it's the last day, folks. PSA.

I'm having a hard time expressing how much I love this. It's times like this that I wish I had a garage.

Agreed BG! I'd love to have that but just don't have the room as well. Looks like it might make a nice drop bar conversion too. I really like the paint job on the frame.

Fall back fiendish demon! Don't tempt me with your hoarding ways!

I should do what Grady did and just rent space. I'll need if for the eventual motorcycle anyway.

Funny you should mention that space idea.

Just chatted about it last night.

Our group was out last night at a fundraiser and four of us have sailboats.

Not to mention motorcycles, cars and way too many bicycles.

We would be looking for 4-5,000 square feet.

Very likely we will be seeking another space in North Mpls near the warehouse district.

Easy freeway access.

Great access to the Grand Round, which is the route our group rides weekly.

We'll see how it goes.

This seems like an ok price for a chrome paramount. Cinelli dia-compe brakes must be rare.

All Chrome Paramount with Campy and Cinelli accessories - $1200 (NW Philly Chestnut Hill)

For sale is a very scarce ALL CHROME '73 Men's Paramount road bike. Serial # F73100. This was a special order bike as chrome was not one of Schwinn's standard offerings in 1973.

This bike blings like no other, so be prepared to turn some heads when riding it!

Standover height = 33", floor to bottom of seat tube = 33"
Campagnolo Hub and crankset
Campagnolo rear derailleur
Cinelli stem with Cinelli Giro Ditalia road bars
Cinelli Dia Compe brakes
Mavic rims with Specialized rubber (700x25C)
Needs tube and saddle, pedals
