The Raliegh looks like a assume deal if it was local for me I would consider buying it for the Raliegh branded Suntour stuff alone basically worth the asking price.

[h=2]1984 Raleigh grand prix usa racing - $350 (new bedford)[/h]

This is a nice vintage Raleigh grand prix USA racing. It has a fire engine red & chrome double butted & lugged 555sl tubing. These were made between 82-85 with a partnership with Raleigh & Huffy of japanese tubing & made in Taiwan. Dont let this stuff scare you, this is a well built beautifull bike. To make it road ready i would change saddle, tires & bar wrap & get cage straps for pedals. This bike was always stored indoors, its size 53-54cm. It has horizontal dropouts & I was thinking of converting it but couldnt actually tear it down. 350 cash.

Was tempted by this Kuwahara on the 'Bay - pretty reasonable price. A bit long for me so I thought I'd post it here to minimize my temptation. https://www.ebay.com/itm/121066575404...84.m1423.l2649

Looks like it could be a nice sport tourer/all rounder. The seller said it has 126mm rear spacing, 26.6 seat-tube. Originally took 27'' but could use long reach brakes for 700c for even more clearance.

First time posting here. I don't know if I'm being smart by thowing this out here, but it is on ebay, and I could use some knowledge. Maybe someone else could come up.

47cm Lemond Reno. Steel fork+threaded headset. They're asking $300 BIN.
Too much? I need a beater, and would transfer parts from another bike and slap on some DT shifters. I hear Lemonds have a unique geo, and the TT and DT#'s on the frame match up more or less on my rig. Any info/opinions appreciated.

*Apologies if I'm using this thread wrong.

Yeah wrong thread, there is one for inquiries but I can't find it. Anyhoo, doesn't $300 for a beater frame sound like alot? Unless you are going for the "unique Lemond geo" which I know nothing about. If it's the size of the frame I could understand since there don't seem to be very many. I do remember seeing a 47cm bike on my CL, I'll see if I can find it.

No, I was outbid when it reached $100. Spring Yards sales and $75 10 speeds are just weeks away...I can wait.

I suspect it has no front brake because the fork is bent.
