That Sirrus is nice - wish I lived close enough to snag it before it's gone.

1974 Pogliaghi Tandem - $1500 (mission district)

Date: 2009-11-04, 7:35AM PST
Reply to: sale-pah5a-1450967346@craigslist.org

I got this tandem from the original owner who traveled to Milan to get sized for the bike. Ironically he was 5'11'' and this bike measures 53.5cm ctt. Anyhow, I'm 5'10 and it feels pretty good. The top tube is 55 ctc and the captain and stoker measure the same. All parts are Campagnolo NR. Cranks are 172.5. All original except for the front stem. Wheels are tubular, but I have an extra set of Super Champion clinchers I could throw in.

The bike needs some work, but will clean up really nice.

I have a 1980's Miyata Two Ten up for sale. It's been a good bike to me but my computer crashed and I need a new one so I’m clearing house.
As you can see in the picture below this bike can easily be converted into a Fixed/single speed if you choose.

$90.00 or best offer

Fuji Newest and Specialized Sirrus

I picked up both of these tonite - the seller said that there had been quite a bit of response to both... Both in very nice condition, especially the Fuji (just a bit of garage rash on one side of the top tube). Two great bikes for my tall son and shorter wife!

Reply to: sale-qt2tc-1454770718@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

1977 Raleigh Competition GS 23 1/2" (about 59 by today's sizing) This is an original bike that was rebuilt as a "town bike" project, built just to my liking with a few Campy upgrades as well. I know it's worth more in pieces (and easier to sell I'm sure) but I want to give someone a chance to own it the way it is before I change it back to a true road bike. (or part it out, or both) So back to the ad..... Made in England in 1977 of Reynolds 531 double butted tubing (steel is real) at the Carlton factory, there are no cable guides brazed to this model, except one chromed on the rear stay. All the clamp-ons have been replaced. Wheels rebuilt with Mavic M2's and wheelsmith stainless spokes. Up graded Campy headset, cranks, derailleur. New Panaracer Pasela Kevlar touring tires. New Brooks B68 saddle. New Nitto Periscopa stem, Albatrose bars, leather grips. NOS Suntour barend shifters.New MKS touring pedals. Cables and housing all new. I'm sure I've forgotten something. If you like it the way it is contact me ASAP cause I'm liable to go to option B quickly if no response this way. I'm open to discussion on any and all parts so don't be afraid to ask? Here's one bike picture to get you started and a link to a whole bunch of closeups. https://picasaweb.google.com/cyclemail/Raleigh#

I recognize the driveway... I bought a nice Dawes Galaxy from him a few months ago when I was working in Michigan. Nice guy... a bike flipper with mostly lower end bikes.
