Ironman with 10 speed brifters. 1 size bigger and I'd be on it. https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/bik/3627365310.html

1987 Centurion Ironman Expert 57cm - $400 (OC/SGV )

For sale is my 57cm (top tube length) 1987 Dave Scott Centurion Ironman Expert. This bike has treated me extremely well. I have upgraded to a better bike, so I need to part with this one. It has upgraded parts, and is modern 10x2 speed. Shifts smoothly, no rubbing whatsoever. I believe the last time I weighed it, it was 23lbs. Tange 1 steel tubing. There are some paint chips throughout the frame, and mainly on the chain stay. Overall good condition with plenty of miles left.
Parts list:

ST-5600 Shimano 105 STI brifters (double)
FC-6500 Shimano Ultegra double crankset (standard size, 172.5mm crank arm length)
CS-4600 Shimano Tiagra cassette (11-25T)
RD-1050 Shimano 105 Rear derailleur
FD-1050 Shimano 105 Front derailleur
BR-1050 Shimano Front/Rear brakes
BB-5600(?) bottom bracket
KMC x10 chain (stretched, but has life left)
Mavic Aksium 700c wheelset with Bontrager 700x23 tires (Wheelset is worth $200 alone)
Sugino SP-KC fluted saddle post
Shimano cable housings and cables
Cinelli 110cm stem
Nitto Olympiade handlebar (40cm @ the drops)
Fizik White microtex bar tape recently installed
Generic black saddle

Jet, you are the ultimate enabler. I was so relieved to see that it's a respray because otherwise I'd have to figure out how to make this happen also.

Santana tandem, $350, Charlottesville Va.

https://charlottesville.craigslist.or...625732746.html

This is a mid 80's Santana Elan in excellent condition. It would be great for someone wanting to try tandeming without spending a fortune. Everything works great and looks good but it is an older bike without index shifting or clipless pedals (bar end shifters, triple chain ring, 15 speed total, cantellever and drum brakes, 27"wheels, Shimano & Sugino components). It never quite fit us so we bought a newer tandem sized better for us. The frame is a 21/19 so a 5'6-5'10 captain and 5'2-5'8 stoker would be about right.
