Not a smokin' deal, but perhaps a fair price for a nicely-made and uncommon Italian marque. Note the curve in the ST by the rear wheel. I'm also a sucker for unusual components such as the Galli bits.

[h=2]1985 Vintage Italian Fantini Road Bike (53cm) - $800 (walnut creek)[/h]
Classic steel road bike that I imported from Italy. The bike is very responsive and is very stable at speed.
Just had the wheel set built (Ben's Cycle in Milwaukee) within the last 3 weeks using the original Galli hubs with new Velocity polished A23. The rear was built with the A23 O/C.
The Ofmega cup and cone bottom bracket was replaced with a sealed Shimano UN55 (Ofmega bb will be included as well). Headset serviced as well.
Being a bike that has been ridden and given its age has chips in the paint but no dents or dings on the tube.
Reason for selling is I have another road bike now and don't plan on riding this anymore.
Geometry
Seat tube 53cm c-t
Top tube 53cm c-c
Head tube 110mm
Chain stay 39cm
Wheel base 95cm
Head tube angle 73
Seat tube angle 74
Front spacing 100mm
Rear spacing 126mm
Crank/Chain ring Galli 170mm 52/42
Rear Derailleur Galli
Front Derailleur Campagnolo
Downtube shifter Campagnolo
Freewheel (14-22) SunTour
Brake lever Dia Compe aero
Brake Galli
Hubs Galli
Rim Velocity polished A23 rear is O/C
Tires Continental Gatorskin 700x23
Saddle Selle Italia Turbo Special
Stem 3TT 100mm
Bar 3TT Mod Grand Prix
The original Galli Crit brake levers, pedals and cages along with the Ofmega bottom bracket will be included as well.
Cash, paypal or credit card accepted. (If paying by paypal or credit card a percentage will be added to cover the cost of the processing fee)

Yes indeed, those are 42cm wide GB randonneur handlebars, which came stock on that '72 Schwinn Continental, which also sports a Burgundy 24" frame.

[h=2]1984 Trek 420 - $130 (Clayton)[/h]
I have a 1984 Trek 420 for sale. It has new tires and tubes, they need air but I don't have the small adaptor. The bike is all original, it has a few chips, mostly on the top tube from a car rack. It's a cool metallic blue color, 18 speed, with a stand over height of 34" (i dont know the official frame size)and is in need of a good cleaning and a little tuning, that's why it is only $130. I bought it from my neighbor when they were moving, but I realized I can no longer ride a bike like this after having back surgery. I am trying to get my garage cleaned out so it needs to go. I am firm on the price. Thanks

** edit - Gitane called it a "collapsible" bike, but I don't think the frame actually separates.

[h=2]Vintage Colnago "Nuovo Mexico" Frame - $450 (Melrose)[/h] Powered by Leaflet — Terms
17 Sanford St
Vintage Colnago 'Nuovo Mexico" steel bicycle frame. The "Nuovo Mexico" was a limited production frame offered by Colnago in the mid 1980's. It features "crimped" tubing along the top tube, down tube and both chain stays. The idea was to add additional stiffness and probably was the prelude to Colnago's famed Gilco tubing. The frame measures 56 c-c with a 55 c-c top tube. It is made of Columbus tubing with a fully chromed and engraved Colnago fork and engraved chromed driveside chainstay. The decals are immaculate as is the paint. There are three ball point sized chips on the frame that were two small to photograph. The frame also comes with a vintage Campagnolo Nuovo Record Headset in perfect condition. The frame has an Italian BB shell, 27.2 seatpost, braze on front derailleur hanger, recessed allen key fittings for front and rear brakes and horizontal dropouts if you wanted to convert to a single speed or fixed gear. Please call Matt at 781 632-2892. Additional pics available upon request. 17 Sanford St (google map) (yahoo map)

I bet that thing is a tank, especially with steel chrome wheels...but if I lived there I would probably consider looking into it further because it is so unusual looking.
Can't tell but I think this is the same bike talked about on this forum back in 2009: https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...itane-Traveler
Here's the catalog listing of the bike, though it is in French: https://www.gitaneusa.com/images/cata...FR_1973_10.jpg
