A quick google of that seatpost regurgitated this, from a forum:
"I have used the fast forward seatpost on several bikes. It works well to put you in a nice forward position, however it has some other side effect that are not so great.

As you move your weight forward, more weight will go over the front wheel and your steering may become very twitchy and feel pretty unstable. Two of the three bikes I used with a forward seat post were like this. It is still rideable. but on hills it can be pretty scary at 45 mph."

I guess they're an acquired taste, like Retsina wine. No thanks!

Sent an email to this ad last night. She got back to me with pictures, but about 20 min after that it was sold. Ended up being an early 80s (looks like an 81) Miyata 1000 in great shape. This was my girlfriends size, but I've had my fill of nice scores recently, so I'm not too choked up over missing it.

Someone got an amazing deal though, anybody here snag it?

Still too small for Rocket-Sauce. At a quick glance it looks like it is in good condition.

I just spent a couple weeks in Portland and there are several sets of record hubs for sale, lots of pump heads, some cable guides and some later campy parts as well. at the co-op on Alberta. Prices are reasonable.

Drool and pricey.

Beautiful Grey Suntour Superbe Pro Group - $400 (mission district)

Wow that Grey Superbe group is the business! ^^

Here's something you don't see everyday on Craigslist...

https://newyork.craigslist.org/wch/bik/3690151414.html
[h=2]54cm Rivendell Road - 650B Conversion - $2200 (Greenwich, CT)[/h]

Waterford Built, Reynolds 753 tubing, Richard Sachs inspired lugs and First Edition Head Badge. It has seen very minimal mileage -- less than 1000m -- since its original purchase in 1995 as a 700c tire bike (I am the original owner). Has been in storage since since 2011 till its complete 650b restoration. Mosty NOS parts (Phil Wood, Salsa, Sugino), it's been ridden only 150 miles since its 650B conversion. More pictures here https://www.flickr.com/photos/dedmaus...7632947325219/.

Invested well over $3400, asking $2200. Serious inquiries only. PEACE!!!

I'm fairly certain this is a PX10:

Vintage Peugeot Racing Bike - $300 (Fort Pierce)

Good condition, probably 1960. Brooks saddle, sew up tires.

Early 70's PX-10, probably a PX-10E. The decals on ST and HT are NOT shield shape, not 60's. Great deal, as long as the attachment of the rear rack hasn't crimped a tube or two.

So.... I think I posted this before, but I wish someone would buy it just so the guy would stop posting. He basically knows nothing about it at all. The stem seems a little suspect though, almost looks like sharpie?

Funny thing about Peugeots: most people don't give a rip about them until they get one, then they're consumed with them

Charlottesville Va. Relatively cheap Masi GC with issues (I think).

https://charlottesville.craigslist.or...689977338.html

Late 80's MASI Gran Criterium frame, 60 cm, super rare old school racing frame

collectors item, check out this website: Masi Bikes info: https://bhovey.com/Masi/index.html
horizontal dropouts make this a perfect rig for a fixed gear
Italian frame but made in California
Includes a classic Cinelli stem and bar, Campagnolo seat post, Selle Italia Flight Ti saddle
headset is very smooth
good condition, some bubbling paint and surface rust in a few spots, super rare old school racing frame

[h=2]1984 Raleigh grand prix usa racing - $300 (New Bedford)[/h]

This is a nice vintage Raleigh grand prix USA racing. It has a fire engine red & chrome double butted & lugged 555sl tubing. These were made between 82-85 with a partnership with Raleigh & Huffy of japanese tubing & made in Taiwan. Dont let this stuff scare you, this is a well built beautifull bike. To make it road ready i would change saddle, tires & bar wrap. This bike was always stored indoors, its size 53-54cm. It has horizontal dropouts & I was thinking of converting it but couldnt actually bring myself to tear it apart.

Per thread rules, you need to put that in the sales part of the forum and state an explicit price. Delete your ad ... please.
