I have been searching for one of these for YEARS !!
One member claims this the "Holy Grail" of Cannondale touring frames: a 27" T-1000 from 1993.
Cantilever brakes, chrome moly fork and 135mm rear dropouts.
Now I can build my DREAM TOURER!!
"Twasn't cheap, but affordable.

Rocky-Blue/Silver

Please e-mail me with any questions about the bike. It is not immaculate but in very good shape. Rider should be 6'1" or taller. I am 6'1" and the seat works as shown but the reach is a bit too much for me most of the time. If you are 6'1" you will probably want a different stem (shorter and taller), although it depends on your flexibility. Ortlieb roll-top waterproof panniers (yellow) are available for an extra charge.

The bike can be purchased with the SPD pedals and Brooks B17 for an additional charge.

Credit cards accepted!

From catalog (https://www.miyatacatalogs.com/2007/1...alog-1987.html):

"The 615 has been designed to combine the features of both the touring and sport bicycles. The frame is designed for touring while the steering is a bit quicker and the ride is slightly stiffer."

That's one heck of a bike Col...good luck!

My view on ti is that you really should stick to the people who really specialize in ti...Spectrum, Seven, older Merlins, Moots and the like. This qualifies.

[h=2] Bianchi Alfana Road Bike - $300 (Pipersville, PA)[/h]

+-

Powered by LeafletTerms

My dad, an avid road racer, gave me this bike as he gets a new one every few years. I tried taking this bike out on the beautiful pipersville roads by my house and learned I am NOT a natural biker...I am too scared of the cars...and falling into a ditch on the side of the road- (I don't know how you people do it!) Has been sitting in my garage office for 2 years. Most likely needs a tune up. $300 or Best offer

While searching for a 80's frame for a bike I'm assembling I found this beautiful Colnago Master Piu with Columbus tubing. It's a 54 with a few scratches normal to a 30 year old frame, but it's in great condition.

[h=2] 59cm Reynolds 531 Holdsworth Frame - $75 (West Philly)[/h]
For sale is a pretty cool 59cm ctt, lugged, Holdsworth Frame. Frame is made from reynolds 531 steel. Also included is the headset shown. Frame has an unfortunate amount of rust, but no structural dents. It will make for a pretty bad ass fixie or city build-up. Very speedy frame geometry. Looking for $75 or best offer.

Which Miyata is this? The ad says early 90's, but it looks like a mid-80's to me. Maybe a 310?

CL: New Miyata - $380 (Longmont) [link]

New 57cm cromo steel full Shimano 500 bought in the early 1990s rode it a couple times then it sat in storage since fully tuned $380.00 obo

[h=2]Romic Road Frame - $225[/h]

Romic road bike, frame and all components. No wheels.

Romic made excellent steel road bikes from the mid 70s to the early 2000s. I don't know how old this is. Serial number on bottom bracket is 110 554 880. On the web there may be an explanation of the serial number's meaning.

Bike is complete, with lugged steel frame, Dura-Ace front derailleur, Suntour rear. Campagnolo 170mm cranks and Superbe downtube shifters. Top tube measures 22.75" and seat tube measures 23.5" Had a five speed cluster on the rear but the wheels were too old to be safe.

I was going to use this as my lightweight, old school road bike or climber but I decided it is too big for me. Bike is complete but for wheels and I could put a pair on for test rides. Everything works well. Frame is in excellent condition but paint is far from perfect. Bike feels light and quick, shifts smoothly, just too big. Any questions, give me an email. Thanks.
