I'm not even to going to claim I can tell. Honestly it doesn't look like any PX-10 I've seen but that's not saying much

Not Italian but a well known local builder. I agree on size, but Della Santa makes some nice frames.

I find smaller bikes sell faster and at a premium actually...it's just difficult to sell niche bikes like that on CL if they're over $400, regardless of what they are. That's an eBay bike IMO.

I didnt want to post this one because i want it very badly for myself. but I figure if someone else gets it then it wasnt meant to be. I have emailed the seller with my interest, but no response yet. I have a facilitator in that area that would pick up for me.
Nice bike! I think the Zeus cranks are original. I had a '69 Comp in black when i was in my youth. Even raced it.

[h=2]Santana Touring Tandem Phil Wood, TA, Schwalbe, XT, Fully Outfitted! - $900 (Eugene) [/h]Up for sale is a rare gem that I am sad to see go. My girlfriend and I purchased this tandem a few years ago and it has seen us through many a great overnight trip and all day ride. It is fully ready to tour with new SKS silver fenders and original silver Jim Blackburn aluminum front and rear racks. We had the bike overhauled last summer (it hasn't been ridden much since then) and had the original cantilevers and brake levers replaced with modern bits, which has made everything a lot smoother. The rear derailleur was also upgraded to an XT unit since the original suntour mech was really clunky. The wheels are super beefy Ukai rims laced with 48 spokes to Phil Wood hubs, and are truly the highlight of the bike, along with the French-made T.A. Specialties cranks which are stunningly beautiful. Custom specialized handlebars and stem, Edco headset, and nearly-new Schwalbe Marathon tires round out the build. The condition of everything is excellent. All of the original components have very little use on them. The only issues are cosmetic, the captain's top tube has a few scratches in the paint, and the rear shifter cable and chain probably need a bit of lube. Other than there are no dents, dings, or overall issues. This beast is ready to roll and put a smile on your face(s)!

Cash only. I am unable to deliver at this point in time, so you'll have to come see it at my home about a quarter mile away from Market of Choice in South Eugene. In a few weeks I -might- be able to get this up to Portland, but don't plan on it, it's more likely that it'll only be for sale locally. Price is firm.

Measurements:
Captain:
ST c-t: 56.25cm
TT c-c: 57cm

Stoker:
ST c-t: 53cm
TT c- below stem clamp: 57cm (note: I think that the effective top tube is roughly a 54, the 57cm is a measure of the top tube and stem length, if this is unclear please ask)

I thought i remember reading somewhere that this bike actually has 650b wheels or something? either way looks like its got some decent donor parts. generator, lights, fenders, shifters, maybe wheels... been on CL for a loooong time, i bet he'll take a low low offer.

Not sure this one is 1972... I think a bit younger, if the dropouts are the short ones which I think they are, 1976 or even later. These are nice bikes, normally sold locally. Jim is in NZ now.

Think (the CL bike, not the above) it is actually a 1979ish PXN10E "Super Competition". Slightly different decal scheme. Either way, a bargain at the price. To bad it's so tiny.

[h=2]Road Bike - $500 (Savin hill, Boston)[/h]

Sick Italian Handmade Road Bike! A family friend raced this bike in the 90's, steal frame, nice shimano 600 components, extra set of rims and tires (the guy had the "sew-up" tires on it) gears all shift smooth (maybe a little "ting" shifting into the low gear once and a while, very minor) extended neck on the handle bar unit, ROLLS seat. This bike is a steal, it is an extremely high quality road bike. I used it as a fun commuter bike for a while, and now just cruise around town. I am moving to California and have to get rid of it. Free helmet, bike lock and head light mounted on bike.

[h=2]Klein Rascal Sunburst - $150 (east Arlington)[/h]

Thinning the herd.

Klein Rascal sunburst paint. See pics. This is an early 90's model MTB with a wild paint job. It has one problem that would preclude its use as a hardcore mountain bike these days: a nickel sized dent in the top tube (see pic). Otherwise it has all Deore XT hardware and indexed rear thumbies. All used but serviceable. It will need FD adjustment, some new cables (interior routing is fraying them) and your seat of choice. I did a cursory cleaning but otherwise haven't messed with it. Paint chips in a number of places but still looks great. Seat tube is 17", top tube is 21". I am 5'10" or so and it's a little small for me. If you want to get noticed riding around town, this would be the bike for you. $150

Email to set up a time. I am in east Arlington, near Somerville and north Cambridge. Also accessible via the Alewife Greenway path.

Holy crap, go buy that right now. Low level klein or not, that paintjob alone is worth twice that. Up for brokering?

Forgive my ignorance, but why would this be considered a low end Klein if it came with full XT components on it, I know the Fervor came with both LX or XT but never thought of them as low end.

I guess low level is relative- it's not an adroit and doesn't have the paint matched cockpit. It's not a low level bike as much as it isn't the most desirable klein.

Pinarello Prologo - $1100 (Lakewood)

This is a Pinarello Prologo from 1990 I believe. A few specifications are the following:
Campagnolo Chorus Crank 54, 42
Campagnolo Chorus brakes and levers
Campagnolo Chorus 9 speed derailleur ans bar end shifters
Campagnolo Chorus front derailleur
Vetta Saddle
Syntace aerobars

Does not include pedals but if you would like, I will retape the bars using new, white bar tape, and will oblige you for any other requests. I do not want to sell this bike simply because it is fun to ride and steel is incredibly comfortable. If you have any more questions let me know and I will be happy to answer!

^If that's a Nitto bullmoose handlebar on that $60 MTb, that would be well worth the price. I think they're selling on EBay for around $30 at least, assuming it's in good condition.
