I know there are some pieces-parts on this bike that are worth more than the asking price -- look at the bars!!!

Bicycle collection (Medford)

I have a collection of high end bicycles and I've decided that it's time to sell some of them. The range in vintage from the early seventies to late eighties and are in good to excellent condition. They are all in the 59 to 60 centimeter range in size. I'm the type of collector that keeps his bikes well maintained and I do ride them regularly. All of these bikes are highly sort after by collectors. The collection includes bikes by Cinelli, Jack Taylor, Hetchins, DeRosa, and Pegoretti.
If you are interested I will contact you after you respond to this listing with your name and phone number.

This bike is absolutely gorgeous. If this bike were in Los Angeles, I'd be picking it up right now. I find this multi color fades irresistable.

[h=2] Gitane Real French Midget Racer Custom Built - $500 (Doylestown 18901)[/h]
This bike was custom built for my son when he was 7. It started as an early 1970's Gitane Juvenile model 2652, 3-speed "Midget" racer. It is now a 10-speed. The conversion is not trivial so this is the only one like it to be found anywhere. This is a solid, period correct and completely French bike, built with original, new and NOS parts.
The 22-inch chrome rims were re-laced to NOS Zeus high flange hubs with new stainless steel spokes and NOS Atom 5-speed (14-20) rear cluster. A new 40/46 French cottered crankset replaces the original and matching Huret Front and rear derailleurs and shifters were added. Pedals are original the Leyotard with French threads.
Brakes are the original Weinmann, but CLB youth drilled brake levers were added for a kids shorter reach and better looks. The NOREX tensioned leather saddle was NOS. It now has some minor scrapes, but is in great condition.
Tires ( Kenda 22 x 1-3/8" or 37-490 ), brake pads, drive chain, all cables and cable housings are all brand new. All bearings were replaced / serviced during the build-up and function flawlessly. There are paint scratches. mostly on the top tube where the original brake cable rubbed. I used a rubber donut on the replacement cable.
My son learned to skillfully ride a road bike on this bicycle. It is not a toy, but a scaled down adult machine. The bike has been dropped a few times, but not crashed. Minimal wear is consistent with use by a 60 pound rider.
All of the original, pre-conversion parts were kept and will go with the bicycle.

45cm frame / 25" standover

FWIW, I did pick up that unknown MTB that I < think > is a Raleigh Elkhorn - and posted the questions and component list on the appraisal forum. It will need new cables and tires, but it is rideable as is.

[h=2]56cm Raleigh TI Team Reynolds 753 "Ilkeston Made" Campagnolo - $850 (Carol Stream)[/h]

"In autumn 1974, Raleigh established its Specialist Bicycle Development Unit (SBDU) for making very small numbers of outstandingly high quality specialist frames and bicycles at Digby Street in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Only six specially selected expert frame builders from the Raleigh factory were chosen for their inventive capability. Frames were built for the Ti-Raleigh continental professional team from the very beginning. The SBDU produced the only British frame to ever win the Tour de France (Joop Zoetemelk, 1980). It worked with Reynolds in developing Reynolds 753 and the first frames were tested by the Ti-Raleigh team in 1974. Fewer than 1000 frames a year were built between 1974 and 1985. Genuine Ilkeston frames can be identified by frame numbers with 1 to approx 9500, prefixed SB."

Very saught after Raleigh TI Team "Ilkeston Made" Reynolds 753 with Campagnolo group. Interested in a trade for a 60-62cm Touring bike or Cyclocross, newer bikes or older Trek 720 etc. I got cash to throw in for the right bike. 630-400-0235

Classic CIOCC 1992 with Delta Campagnola components - $500 (Hershey/Palmyra )

All one-of-a-kind delta Campagnolo components. Frame and forks in fine working condition but would need restoration aesthetically.

The pictures say it all! Check it out.
