1962 Raleigh Blue Streak Road bike, it has new tires, and was recently overhauled like new handlebar tape. Its in really good condition and is a gorgeous bike. [h=2]Raleigh Professional-1972 Blue Mink all Campy Record & Reynolds 531 - $600 (Newton)[/h]
This is a 58 cm or 23" Professional. I am 5' 10 or so and this was my size they way they recommended sizing in 1972 with a 23" for someone 5'9" to 6' 2". The Derailleurs, shifters, hubs and seatpost and even the brakes are Campagnolo NRecord The saddle is a Brooks Professional, handlebars are GB with the panographed world map that I believe was unique to the Raleigh Professional, the stem is an Italian 3T Record. These are all original to the Professional. The rims on this bike are clinchers instead of the original sewups built in the period with Weinmann Rims mounted on Campy Record hubs. If you prefer sewups I will swap out the clinchers for the sewup rims. The frame tubes, fork and stays are all Reynolds butted 531 tubing. The fork is a Cinelli style sloping crown with chrome top and end of the fork. This bike was built at the Carlton Workshop of Raleigh in Worksop England when Carlton built all of Raleigh's high end bikes. The Professional was the top of the line and cost more than 5 Raleigh Records when it was new. This is what Sheldon Brown had to say about it on his web site https://sheldonbrown.com/retroraleighs/professional.html .

This bike is a good rider or a good bike to restore; it has the scuffs and scratches of a 40 year old bike but has not dents and only surface rust. Restored Professionals sell for $1,000-$1,200 and unrestored bikes sell on ebay for more than I am asking.

For those who know Professionals this has fastback stays. birdsmouth lugs and fender islets unusual for Professionals and mentioned by Shendon as being on a friend's Professional for their rarity. The decals were replaced by a previous owner and are from a 1974 or later I believe.

The price is firm but I would sell the frame and fork for $250 if someone wants to build a single speed. Because of all of the spam list generators from CL, please include a phone number or I will not respond.

[h=2]Shogun 600 57cm - $225 (Quincy)[/h]

Shogun 600 in very good condition. I've replaced all of the cables and housing within the last few months and the chain in the past few days. All bearings have been repacked within the last year. Basically, the bike is in great shape and should be maintenance-free for you for a long time. Unfortunately, I've just decided it's a shade too small for me.

* Geometry 57cm c-c seat tube, 55cm c-c top tube, 82cm stand over
* 700C Araya alloy rims with Michelin Speedium 2 tires.
* lugged Tange 900 frame
* 12-speed gearing (42+52 chainrings), Z-series Shimano components
* Selle San Marco saddle

[h=2]vintage Holdsworth Special 58cm 12 speed tourer ready to ride - $350 (Lowell)[/h]I have for sale a 58cm Holdsworth Special 12spd with Reynolds 531 handbuilt, Campagnolo NR rear derailleur, Huret Front, Huret friction shifters, Campagnolo brakes/levers, Sugino Super Mighty crankset 52/42, Tange Allez headset, Cinelli stem, 3TTT Comp handlebars, some vintage Japanese pedals, Blackburn rear rack, gold anodized fenders, Continetal Gatorskin ultra tires and a mint San Marco Concors suede saddle. This bike is out of my personal collection and I can vouch this thing rides like a dream but I currently own way too many rides so I gotta thin the herd. There is some age to the frame but that's why its $350 and not double. Bike is in ready to ride condition. Sold for cash and pick up only. Please mention name, item, location and a phone number for a response all other emails will be considered spam.Thanks

If it fit me, not too beat up, and I was in the area I would have gotten this one.

88 Bridgestone RB-1 56cm - 1 Owner - $450 (Olympia)

Bridgestone RB-1 purchased in June 1989, with all original Shimano ( Exage Sport ???) and 105 components, including original Biopace chainring set and Wolber wheels. ...I still have the original sales receipt and Bridgestone owners manual. It has rarely been in the rain, and has between 1,000 and 1,500 total miles (it is still set up for a Cateye bike computer, which had an odometer reading of about 880 miles at last operation).
$425.

Pinarello Treviso Frameset project, Columbus SL steel, 52/53cm, rare! - $200 (hawthorne)

This is an awesome project frame! I have all of the decals for this frame, and the frame itself is in great condition. The only issue is that one of the cable bosses on the top of the frame broke off, the middle one, easy to replace with a cable guide. Otherwise, the frameset is in excellent condition. Includes frame + fork (Columbus SL), headset (Shimano 600, smooth!), BB (shimano, square taper). Chain-side chainstay is chromed. Rare find, check it out!

Hey guys, i dont know if this is kosher, but may I throw out a request? I am 6'9" and looking for a frame 67cm's and up. The catch is I absolutely do not want another Schwinn. The frame on my 69cm world sport just broke and I would like something a little different. So far I've only seen a raleigh olympian and team usa with 555sl heavy tubes. Not exactly a great selection. If this isn't allowed let me know, I'm just a depserate tall guy looking for a huge frame/bike.

If this isn't allowed let me know, I'm just a depserate tall guy looking for a huge frame/bike.
