^Already off season, the Bianchi is overpriced by at least 25%. I wouldn't expect this bike to sell for more than $750...

Would make a nice touring rig. Mannesmann tubing?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/BioRacer-Mul...21219240810%26

For sale is a nice touring or cross bike frame labeled BioRacer Multi that was probably built in Italy but I really don't know. The lugged frame is built from Mannesmann SYTU 767 TG steel tubing and has a horizontal top tube about 56 cm long with 53 cm seat tube and standover height of 32" . It takes an Italian 70 mm bottom bracket (I have a Shimano UN-55 bottom bracket that fits triple Shimano or Japanese taper cranks if interested). There are braze-on pieces for racks and fenders and room for wide tires (35 mm are pictured). Also included is a 27.0 mm Ritchey seat post. I bought this frame on eBay several years ago and I was told it was a salesman's sample back around 1999. I haven't been able to find any information on the manufacturer but I suspect it has something to do with BioRacer and Ridley. I am 5' 10" and this frame fit good with a 110 mm stem.
Key specs:
Seat tube: 53 cm center of bottom bracket to top of top tube.
Top Tube: 56 cm center of seat tube to center of head tube.
Wheelbase: 105 cm.
Wheel Size: 700c
Brakes: Cantilever or Linear V-Brake
Steerer tube: 1 inch
Seatpost: 27.0mm
Bottom bracket width/threading: 70mm wide/Italian threading.
Rear dropout spacing 135 mm.

Weight: 2330 grams frame
780 grams fork

Also included is a Campagnolo threaded headset and quill adapter for threadless stem.

Vintage bianchi - $250 (Norwood)
1983-84 bianchi randonnuer. It's in very good condition. Minimal rust. Gears work great. Center pull brakes. Quick release wheels. The tires are a little dry but they hold air.

The seller claimed not to know the size but sent me a blurry dim pic. When I said it looked like a small frame, and was too small for, but I wasn't sure if it would be a 19" or 50 cm according the catalog he replied that it was a 52. I'll see if I can copy the pic to here.

[h=2]Beautiful Vintage 1984 Holdsworth Road Bike - 58cm - Campagnolo - $295 (Venice)[/h]

This is a 1984 Holdsworth Triath Elan made in London, England with a 58cm Reynolds 531 frame and fork. It is freshly tuned up including an overhaul of the bottom bracket and has brand new tires, cables, housings, bar tape, and brake hoods. The shifters, front derailer, and rear derailer are all Campagnolo. It's a dark blue with metallic flake and white decals. It looks very good, a solid 8/10 with no rust. A classic and unique bike ready to ride.

Cantilever brakes, long chainstays --- either a touring bike or an early CX.
At that price point, if I was in the market for a 52, I'd probably talk him down to $200 and get a nice bike.
I should have skimmed this thread better before I replied to Aron's post. It is a Randonneurer but hard to tell 83/84 from that pic. The San Remo had side pull brakes and didn't come in white.

^^ that is a nice bike. I almost bought a Holdsworth in 81 instead of a Trek I got and wish I would have, but I totaled the Trek in 84 which would have meant the Holdsworth would have been totaled instead. It was a beautiful comfortable bike but a tad bit more flexy than the Trek I got.

No affiliation with nor am I in the market for and have no idea if this is a "steal" at $50, but figured I'd share what I spotted viewing my local CL just now. https://tulsa.craigslist.org/bik/4111162613.html

I have a Benotto Modelo 800 12-speed bike that I just don't ride anymore. It is around 25 years old. All original parts and all work just fine. Tires are old and need replaced. A little shine and polish and it is as good as new.

Certainly worth $50. It looks like it has Shimano 600ex on it or maybe a step down.

[h=2]Tommasini lo-pro pursuit TT time trial funny bike - $425 (Amesbury)[/h]

This is a Tommasini Air CX lo-pro pursuit funny bike. Original Columbus lugged and windowed steel frame and matching Tommasini chrome fork. Nice "T" cutout under bottom bracket. 700c rear wheel, 650c front wheel. Horizontal dropouts facilitate chain tension when running singlespeed/fixed gear.
56cm top tube, 55cm seattube, 29" standover at front, 32" standover at rear. Do not use these figures to compare to a standard road frame. Lo-pros are sized completely differently. This will fit riders anywhere from 5'5" to 6", depending on how you plan to use it.
Pictured with silly short riser bars, but you can have pursuit bars if you prefer. Sugino messenger crankset, Campagnolo front caliper, Campagnolo Nuovo Record chrome track pedals with chrome toe-clips (though you can choose from other pedals if you prefer).
Rear wheel needs freehub.
Due for refurbishment throughout. An original Tommasini. Would make a great winter project.
Cash only. Will remove ad when bike is sold.
Don't want the pedals?...$350
Only want frame/fork?...$275
