If I weren't throwing all my nickels at stuff for the kiddos for Christmas I'd be driving to check this out right now. But I am, so I'm not. Maybe someone around here is feeling Bridgestoney today...? Looks to me like an '88 Radac 2000.

I don't know if "get you guys going" is quite the right term... There's a ton of art, design, engineering and human factors experience that goes into making a top flight frame. I asked on the Classic Rendezvous list for some videos that might help explain the time and effort that goes into a high quality lugged steel frame. I haven't really received any video links yet, though one person did refer me to this page on Richard Sachs' site:

https://www.richardsachs.com/site/how-frames-are-made/

Lots of links to lots of cool stuff from a number of high end framebuilders. Here are a few that seemed to show what I was getting at:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/pereira...7604148018048/
https://www.flickr.com/photos/pereira...7604146471661/
https://www.flickr.com/photos/9866331...7619619034839/

Note though, that just about any link you click takes you to bike porn of one kind or another. Try not to waste too much time at work on them. :-)

I think this is for sale by a non-bike person as it is not quite clear if it is the entire bike for sale or just the frame and parts.

^ With the holidays coming up it could always double for a dining room table. Just think of all the clamps you would have available to hold the bird down while you are carving.

A Peugeot Super Competition is a late 1970s- early 1980s PX10. Is it overpriced by 300? naah ... but it does need someone who knows it's not just another 10 speed.

I agree that the bike isn't terribly overpriced for my market, but for Lancaster...I don't know. I think that would sell for around 400ish in my area with a solid ad...in Lancaster I think it's probably a stretch. Maybe 300.

This won't last long, a "real" PX-10! If I were still in the East Bay, I'd grab it:

This is a very sot after bike from the 70's and am letting it go because I have no need for it. if you have any questions feel free to txt or call at 707-477-2875
