Yes the fork and frame are bent and and the wheels don't match I see a 27 on front and and a 700c rear just a totaL mess off a bike. To see something this bad just makes me sad.

I think this is a great deal on a Super Course. The "upgraded" components are no upgrade from my perspective, but it is what it is. Looks to be in great condition. Nix that vinyl thing on the seat post.

And the Austro Daimler Mixte, 6 or 8 months of listing and no takers.

That Super Course is very tempting. Sell off the parts and raise at least $100-150 and I could swap the frame out for my LTD-3. It'd drop pounds from the build and the straight-gauge Reynolds-531 would probably ride a lot better than the 2030 gas pipe.

Didn't the super-course have the cursed 26TPI BB threading or was that just the forks?

Does not look bent to me. If that were in my area I would be there looking at it now, even though it's not my size. This could be a bargain price depending on condition of the frame.

Dang that looks close to my size and that fork isn't bent. If that were here I'd have to find a way to get it.

That bike belongs with a BF member, for sure. I know a bike shop in Lake Oswego, Lakeside Bicycles will pack for $65 and that includes materials. They will also ship via Fed Ex at cost. Have the craigslist seller drop it off.

Agreed.

Whether it's a real Colnago or not, it looks like a super fun project.

I have only seen one legit vintage era Colnago cross bike in my life, so they are hardly easy to come by.

Dangerously creeping up towards my size.

This bike needs saving.

https://reno.craigslist.org/bik/4306451003.html

Centurion Cinelli Equipe 52cm - $400 (Reno)

Want a bike to get around town on, and stand about 5'8"? I have the perfect one! I am selling one of the best, most beautiful bikes I have ever built. This is the perfect bike to commute daily on. It is such a smooth and comfortable ride. You will not be disappointed. I'm not going to list all the components; I just want to sell it to a student or work-goer that will take good care of my baby, rather than a collector or someone that will part it out.

$400 firm. I don't really want to sell this bike, but need the money.

Jenuet French road bike. the bike has campagnolo gran sport cranks in very nice condition with very smooth campy pedals. it has shimano 600 derailures, weinman brakes, campy brake levers, a wrights English leather saddle, shimano hubs w/ stays rims and new tires. according to what I can find on the internet the frame should be Reynolds 531, call or text Brian @ 860-593-xxxx

Probably not a genuine Colnago frame. He says there are no maker's markings on the frame. He puts a question mark after the word Colnago in his title. Certain things seen in the picture don't speak Colnago to me. Buyer beware. Price may be reasonable for whatever it actually is.

Definitely overpriced, but he might bargain after this sits indefinitely.

https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/bik/4317973570.html

$600

I have a Cilo Vitus 979 racing bicycle that is in good condition. This tires may need to be replaced from sitting in a dry warm basement for many years. This bike has not been ridden very often. The Vitus is France's leading manufacturer of high quality frame tubing. The main tubes of the frame are an aluminum-magnesium alloy called Duralinox. The aluminum alloy frame and building technique were cutting edge in the mid to late 1980's. This bike is a great find and is a good buy at the asking price.

Depending on condition and components I've seen them for on e-bay for more, so I think it could be a good deal depending of course. The Vitus's with the 979 tubing and Shimano 600 in excellent condition is about $1000. Other brands that offered the same tubing like Alan, Motobecane, Cilo etc go for close to the same price. By the way, the one you showed is on e-bay for $500; see: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Cilo...item1c3c138830 $500 to $600 is about right for average condition one.

Great - I'll facilitate for you.

That's a $400 bike here on the high end - and it will not sell fast at 400. I've seen those Alans sit at 350 on eBay - I think you're pricing is off, but if I find one, I'll be sure to sell it here.
