Two 70s Kabukis for $75. Intersting looking. Might be a couple fun restores for someone in the NJ area.

Centurion Dave Scott Ironman frame - $75 (Bucktown)[/h]

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap

western at milwaukee

Hi everyone. I have a tall Centurion Dave Scott Ironman Expert for sale. It is pretty tall, 61 cm center to center, 62 cm center to top. I got it a while ago hoping it would work for a friend but it is too big for him. This is a very well built frame, very light and it would make a great fixed gear conversion or single speed bike. It comes with seat post and shimano 105 headset. It has a small dent on the drive side chain stay and the usual paint chips that come with a steel bike of the 80's. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm a fan of that. The ad says it's 23", but the catalog says it came in 54cm or 57cm. Does this look more like a 54cm, or am I just not good at eyeballing frame size?

I don't think there's any way that's a 57cm. Gotta be a 54.

I doubt it, looks more like a PRN10. I'll let the experts comment. Catalogs are all on line, check them out and then go see the bike.

No chrome stays, no 531 sticker on fork, no chrome rear drop outs, etc.

Ah, I'm not in the market. Thought someone might be interested if it is indeed a PX-10.

Right on. I recall reading about this recently, that is how frequently folks advertise their Peugeot's as PX-10's when in fact they are not..

I don't usually post ebay ads, but this one is just cool. The year is a bit off (more like 1988 or 1989 methinks), and it is a bit pricey. But cool.

If it were about 10cm bigger it would already be gone.

Doubt it. The seller is in her late 20's to mid 30's.

I nabbed this one as a donor. I've been in need of the French bits and I've heard that it was not uncommon for Gitane to use Sugino cranks, but is it typical that they would use 171mm cranks for this small of a frame? I'm a bit pleasantly surprised that they are my size.

Looks to be a 54cm with a fairly short top tube and wheelbase for a touring bike for someone 5'2" to about 5'8".
