This is a Classic Schwinn Paramount Series 7 PDG, Top of the Line. This bike features quality hand made Japanese construction by Panasonic using Tange precision butted oversize steel tubes, investment cast bottom bracket and seat lug, tapered stays, flared oval seat tube, internal brake cable routing and forged Tange dropouts. The bike features the "Purple Freak" paint job with a protective clear coat and is great shape (like new) and no dents in the tubing. Mechanically this bike is complimented by a full Shimano 600 (predecessor to Ultegra) 9 speed STI drivetrain that has been professionally tuned.

I'm moving and looking for a new owner for this vintage frame.
Classic and very beautiful Merlin frame from Bob Jackson, England. This is a vintage lugged steel frame with chrome lugs, it's not the same Merlin as the modern titanium frames. The tubes are Reynolds 531, which was the greatest tube set at the time.
Size is 57cm c-t-c for the seat tube and the top tube.
The dropouts are chrome Zeus horizontal dropouts at 114mm spacing and ought to work for a single speed. 1" threaded headset is smooth. Zeus square-taper bottom bracket. It's got Weinmann 610 center-pull brakes with nearly unused pads. Includes the fork, of course.
This frame has been refinished with a very well done sparkle purple paint job with cream details and chrome.
