I under value small names simply because nobody knows who they are.

IMHO:

Big boy production bikes: We all know who they are and they bring big bucks. De Rosa, Merckx, Pinarello, Colnago etc....
Main stream production bikes: Trek, Miyata, Raleigh, Schwin etc...
Small volume little known builders: Way to niche to bring good money. Small demand means you need to find that one special buyer
Jim - I agree, except the parts are worth admission and it is a cool bike that someone will appreciate.

Sorry about my confusion on terminology and abbreviations. But, what is a TT bike, and what does UCI stand for?

TT means Time Trial.

UCI is the international ruling group in charge of bicycle racing. They set the rules.

16 bikes for $150 (for the lot) in Highland Falls, NY (near West Point). 16 bikes

Noticed at least one really nice looking road bike, and a Ross mountain bike with bull moose bars in the lot.

51cm Cannondale with full Campy Athena
[h=2]51cm Cannondale with full Campy Athena - $700 (Inman Sq)[/h]

craigslist - Map data OpenStreetMap

(google map) (yahoo map)

condition: excellent size / dimensions: 51 cm seat tube

51cm Cannondale aluminum criterium road bike with very compact race geometry. Full period-correct Campagnolo Athena group. Salsa stem, campy hubs laced to Wolber black anodized rims. Down tube shifters are indexed for convenient, smooth shifting. Seatpost is vintage American Classic, will include original Modolo bars and 120 stem if it sweetens the pot. This bike rides like its brand new, recent tune up by professional mechanic. You will not see many bikes on the road with campagnolo and Athena decals under the clear coat. This bike is VERY light and VERY fast. 700 OBO. Thanks for checking her out.

condition: excellent size / dimensions: 52cm

A beautiful bike all around - 1972 Claud Butler Super Torino

This bike is mostly all original minus the wheels and brake levers. I also added the Bluemel's fenders. It measures 52cm c-c on the seat tube, and 53cm c-c on the top tube. Some highlights include

-Reynolds 531 frame, chromed (this was the difference between the Torino and the Super Torino)
-Campagnolo drop outs on frame and fork
-Campy Nuovo Record shifters and derailleurs
-TA cranks
-Campy post and headset
-Cinelli stem and Critirium bars
-Weinmann 610 Vainqueur 999 brakes
-Avocet high flange, sealed bearing hubs (early 80's)
- Super Champion Gentleman 81 rims

Also includes all original paperwork from owner, including mail correspondence to the R.E.W. Reynolds Bicycle Shop in Northampton, England between January and August 1971.

Half of the posts on apt/housing on CL in Kalispell are complaining about the prices. As much as I hate Butte and Anaconda, at least I make decent money and rent is cheap.
Butte... no wonder rent is so cheap. Have you looked at Bozeman or Missoula? Rent prices would make your head spin compared to Kalispell.

Seller updated his CL post on the Pinarello. Looks like it has seen some hard use: chipped paint, peeling decals. Looks legit, but I'd be hard pressed to make the journey for that, especially without wheels or saddle.

Do they all have chipped paint? But seriously, I'm not a Pinarello guy - would $300 be a deal for this frame with "mostly Dura Ace" but a 105 FD. One other picture not included, but sent to me:

Looks to have been ridden hard and put away wet...

I'm not a C&V guy but I stumbled across this while searching for something completely unrelated. I know it's a repaint and that hurts, but I also know Paramounts are a bit special. Looks well done and the price strikes me as koo-koo cheap. Perhaps I'm wrong. Just thinking of you guys in case it's a score...

It's my size, just the wrong bike.

1993 FAT CITY CYCLES MONSTER FAT OFFICIAL BIKE OF HALLOWEEN SIZE MEDIU
[h=2]1993 FAT CITY CYCLES MONSTER FAT OFFICIAL BIKE OF HALLOWEEN SIZE MEDIU - $475 (ARLINGTON)[/h]

craigslist - Map data OpenStreetMap

(google map) (yahoo map)

condition: good

1993 FAT CITY CYCLES MONSTER FAT OFFICIAL BIKE OF HALLOWEEN SIZE MEDIUM 17"

This is a very collectible 1993 Fat City Cycles Monster Fat! It is in very decent condition and it is a Somerville built bike, with all its coolness factor.

The frame is the original spec chromoly steel, size Medium, serial number 030M2M. The seat tube measures 17" from center of bottom bracket to center of top tube. The standover height is 29 inches.

The bike is not entirely original, it was ridden and upgraded over the years, but it was retrofitted with several 1990's vintage components and is quite period-correct. There are a few New Old Stock parts on this bike too, like the look at the handlebar for instance, the chainrings, and the front derailleur. Most of the cabling and cable housing is brand new. The shifting is crisp, and the wheels are true! The fork is on the mushy side and could stand a rebuild.

Please look at additional detailed pictures using this link:
