I met the guy who is selling that when I was working in Santa Barbara last month. The guy has AMAZING stuff! Tons of vintage nos. He was a nice guy too.
I bought a bunch of NOS (70's ?) white tires from him.

Thanks. I just bought it. I'm looking at his other stuff.

Funnily, the LBS I just discovered is also called The Bike Stand. The one here is in Scotch Plains, NJ.

Noglider:

If you are looking for anything vintage and specific, email him and ask. He may have the nos parts you are looking for. Tell him the guy from Chicago on the photo shoot recommended him... who knows, he may give you a deal.

No picture. Is he calling a springer a lowrider or is it CHOPPED? I'm betting they get a tone of concerned calls. SICK is a word younger riders would use and that leans toward the chop slightly.

How collectible do you think this is? I know it is not really C&V (yet), but Japanese stuff is gaining value faster than the European stuff?

1973 Raleigh Super Course, 23"x22" frame, cottered cranks, gold looking paint, seller's text sounds like he/she might know bikes, listed as near the Milwaukee airport. $50. I'm going to guess it will go fast so I'm passing on it (too many projects right now) but if needed I can help facilitate.

beautiful 1980's bianchi campion d'italia, about a 54cm frame. full celeste frame, selle italia seat, toe clip straps, brake cables, and bar tape! this is a fully decked out celeste bianchi in all original shape. it has columbus tubing, frame and fork, made in italy, with full modolo quattro grouppo. this bike has no dents or gouges. wheels are straight and spin smooth, everything is in tune. im looking for only $280 because its too small for me and id like to move it out.

Why, oh WHY did they strip the paint? Unnecessary repaints are my pet peeve. Undoubtedly, he was going to powdercoat it. Where on earth would you be able to find Gallo decals? I suspect that we'll see this bike in about five years in a "Identify this bike" thread. Uggh.

That was quick as it is already gone.

By the way, it is much more convenient if you put the URL of the Craigslist ad in your post.

I dealt with this seller before. I got a unique bike, he was inflexible on the price but was willing to hold it for me and kept his word. No idea on the quality of this bike, but the one I got was an all out restoration project.

I'm guessing you don't get the 8sp Dura Ace but I have harassed enough Portland sellers recently to let it go
