Looks nice! Is this where that Simplex RD is destined to be used? The Huret Jubilee front derailleur is not likely original; be gentle with it as the clamp is prone to failure if tightened too aggressively.

Hi John,

Yes, your derailleur will help me get the bike on the road. I'll select a different derailleur for the front.

Yeah, I was hoping to save it for my son, but he's easily 10 years away and I have no space for it.

I bought it to strip the kit off. It's a complete 6400 series TriColor group. I decided it was too nice a bike to strip for parts though... and my wife wants a cruiser instead of a race bike.
So, the money I make on this goes right into a bike she wants.

I ended up getting the 6400 series parts I needed elsewhere for my Sport DLX instead.

It is in fantastic shape. It probably could get a lot more money if it were bigger.

I really like these, but at this price you could buy it, sell the frame and have a decent harvest for a project.

Not your normal C&V "are you looking?" bike, but hey, maybe you're looking:

[h=2]Gary Fisher SuperCaliber Carbon Hardtail MTB - $400[/h]

Great frame, in decent condition otherwise. I bought this off craigslist a couple years ago with the intention of getting into mountain biking, but it just hasn't happened. Please text me if you are interested, we can arrange to meet.

I have no idea what this is worth, but it seems like some folks actually like these and I thought why not post it.

early 1950's J.C. Higgins mens tank bicycle

Hi I'm selling for $300 a beautiful piece of bicycle history in really good condition. This is an early 1950's (53' or 54' I think) J.C. Higgins tank bike with original pedals and grips in perfect condition, has original white seat (needs repaired, stitching coming off around bottom) it also has the original light on front fender (clean inside, no battery discharge) this is a 26" wheeled men's bicycle made by Murray for Sears under the J.C. Higgins name brand. If you're interested in purchasing this beautiful antique bicycle from me for $300 please include your phone number and I'll text you back asap. Sorry but no number gets no response. Pick up only in south philadelphia. Thanks

Note to self: Don't look directly at it - I am so close to this - but I just got two vintage finds. The more I try to get out, the closer it pulls... leaving this page now.

Yeah, this page is dangerous. Luckily, I consider 90's Italian paint jobs to be eyesores, so I'm safe from this Medusa.

You can see that Master Light two ways----as a great bike at half price or as a free Chorus groupset.

Same with this Rocky Mountain in Pensacola that is listed at $450, it even has Shamals

So, did someone here get the Zunow? I missed out, 'cuz I'm cheap. It went for $481 and change. Peter noted that he paid (I think) $676 for his, so the sale price here seemed reasonable.

Internationals seem to be priced way above other very similar 70's 531 Raleighs. I suspect it's the fancy chrome lugs. You can usually find Competition GSs, Competitions, Gran Sports, and Professionals all day long for half or less of what Internationals are priced.
