Wow, a free timberwolf. I'm jealous of whoever got it.

Raleigh 20, though I'm not sure of the price. edit: $225

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bik/1583941141.html

1972 Raleigh Twenty. See picture attached. This is a rider, not a show bike. In my estimation a 7 or 8 on a scale of 1-10. Note: bike has been fully serviced. rides and shift perfectly, 3 speed sturmey archer,. Has new brake cables, & pads. original brake cable housings were retained Pickup is at Braintree T Station or at exit 5 route 3 in Plymouth. Note: will consider trade for a 3 speed raleigh sports or tourist.

And how! I was more than willing to forgive the effort when it was at $400, but it's now a bit ridiculous at $650. Any guess on the size? I'll be curious to see if it sells at $650. If someone here buys it, we demand PHOTOS!

Here's another chance for a P13.....
1972 Schwinn Paramount P13 Sport Touring Bike - $975 (Cary, IL)

I am the third owner of this beautiful chrome Nervex lugged Schwinn Paramount. The Schwinn provenance report (signed by Richard Schwinn) says it is a 24" P13 but the original owner opted for extras when purchased new. Instead of stock Weinmann 999 brakes, Campy Record was installed. Additional brazeons too; note the brazed on cable routing loops and cable guides along with a second set of bottle mounting lugs just under the stock ones on the down tube. Additionally, rare bar end shifters (part of the stock order) round out the important features of a true Sport Touring bike. I have yet to see another works Paramount quite like this one.

Sometime in 1986, the bike went back to the Paramount works (Waterford) where it was repainted in original color. New decals were installed but instead of period correct ones, decals of the mid 80's were used. This full Campy equipped bike is in perfect condition and only needs adjustments for the new owner to be perfect.

Additional pictures and a copy of the Schwinn provenance report can be provided upon request.

For sale is an all-original, except for the tires, 25-inch 1989 Schwinn Prelude. This is a great bike to convert into a fixie or a flip flop.

Lugged Chrome-moly frame shows some signs of wear, but is in very good condition for a vintage bike. I'm the original owner. It's a large frame, perfect for those six-feet tall or taller.

It's a great bike, and wish I could convert it myself but I don't really have the time to do so.

Pics available upon request.

Hurry before it get fixed!
Will it be spayed or neutered?

This bike is the pretty umm, uh... colorful red white and blue version.

I'm actually in the market for something more touringy, but I'm in contact with this guy about this bike anyway because I'm getting impatient about finding a full blown touring bike. I won't be doing a conversion on it if I get it - unless my Continental conversion falls apart or gets stolen or something.

Hey, forgive me if this is not an appropriate question for this thread, but does anyone know how large a tire one can cram onto those stock 89 Prelude rims? I'm huge (220 lbs) and often haul huge loads (in addition to my huge ass self) so on a 700 C wheel I'd prefer to ride a 28 or larger. Will that work? If this question should be in a fresh thread please let me know. thanks.

59cm Columbus/Cinelli Road Frame- Car Pa - $350 (sunset / parkside)

Date: 2010-02-05, 4:39PM PST
Reply to: sale-ezumc-1588036982@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I got this frame shipped from Switzerland, and to this day have never been able to find any information on the builder, Car Pa. It is made from Columbus tubing with Cinelli lugs and Campagnolo dropouts, and rides like a dream. I was told that it is from '86 or '87.

Seat tube- 58.5cm ctc
Top tube- 59cm ctc

Serial Number is matching on frame and fork and is "1787"

Internal routing for cables
Braze-on Front Derailleur
Italian threaded fork and bottom bracket
semi-aero seatstays

There are scratches throughout the frame, but nothing structurally damaging to the frame.
Currently has a reflective sticker on the head tube that I can take off if necessary.

Feel free to contact me if you want more pictures or details.

I am very interested in full or partial trades. I need a nice threaded fork with a long steer tube, and bars with 26.4 clamp diameter. I also need an air compressor, various power tools, make an offer!

Frame and Fork only (last pic is to show it all built up)

$350 or best offer takes it

My 27" Raleigh Super Course Mark II for... - $99 (East Orange, NJ 07018)

Date: 2010-02-06, 12:29AM EST
Reply to: sale-drpem-1588317649@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I am willing to trade my green Raleigh 27" tall frame Super Course Mark II for a similar 27" male or female or a 26" male bike. It must be a standard size frame. This one is too tall for even me, and I want to get a bike for my granddaughter to ride with me. I also got a crazy deal on a Nishiki Sport.

Marrock, thank you. I emailed the seller. I'm sure I can make a good trade with him.

Where in NJ are you?

DRietz, that's a nice Moser, but note, it's not top-of-the-line. It's got wannabe components on it, not that there's anything wrong with them. Not only that, it's in Poland.

$250 ----- fast and fun triathlon road bike with Dura Ace components and Speedplay pedals included. 57cm. I'm 6'0" and it fits me. I haven’t ridden this bike in years and I’m looking to find it a new home.
