Vintage Paramount
[h=2]1973 Schwinn Paramount, Deluxe Touring model - $750 (Okemos, MI)
https://lansing.craigslist.org/bik/4304815955.html
His description:
I have for sale a 1973 Schwinn Paramount Deluxe Touring model, 24" (measured center-to-top). Equipped with Campagnolo Nuovo Record deraileurs, seatpost, crankset and pedals; Cinelli Giro d' Italia handlebar and stem; Brooks Pro saddle. Also includes a working original Silca pump with Campy head and original thorn catchers for the tires. It has a long wheelbase (almost 42 inches) and lots of room around the wheels (of course it likely came with 27" wheels; it was sporting 700c tubular wheels when I purchased it; the original wheels will be the ones sold with it; the modern 700c wheelset on it are for test rides only). No sign of any crashes (not even the pedal dust caps; highly unusual for this age!). The brownish stuff in some of the photos came off nicely; was not from any rust. It's also got eyelets for fenders/ racks and the Weinmann center pull brakes rather than the Campy sidepulls that the road racing model would have had. Rides like a Cadillac. Rack not included. Prefer local pickup but shipping can be arranged (actual shipping cost plus $50 for professional packing).
Lots of pictures here:

[h=2] Merckx Corsa Extra 55cm Team Telekom - $950 (oakland downtown)[/h]
Vintage 1990/91 Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra with number hanger- real race frame! I'm sure I'll regret selling this since it took so long for me to track one of these down in the first place, but I've got to clear out some space for my girlfriend's bikes.
The bike has some cosmetic wear as you might expect from a frame of this age that has been ridden rather than just hung on the wall, but it is structurally solid and still has plenty of miles to go. The fork is not the original, but still rides like a Merckx. The original fork was probably chromed so it still works aesthetically- here is an example of a similar bike (NOT the bike I'm selling), just two away in serial number sequence: https://www.cadre.org/Merckx/H-4306-C/. The parts are a bit of a mish mash since I set it up more as a sweet commuter bike than a restoration.
Specs:
seat tube c-t: 55cm (53.5cm c-c)
top tube c-c: 55cm
head tube: 125mm
rear wheel: Mavic Ksyrium Elite, Shimano 12-27 10s cassette
front wheel: Shimano 600/Campy Moskva 32h/ Wheelsmith 14/15 spokes
crankset: Campagnolo Chorus carbon, 175mm, square taper 53/39
bottom bracket: Italian, Chorus or Record, not sure but probably Chorus
handlebars: Cinelli Eubios 44cm
front derailleur: Ultegra
rear derailleur: SRAM Force
shifters: SRAM Rival, alloy right, carbon left, pink hoods
saddle: San Marco Concor Supercorsa suede (pictured) or Vetta Lite white (fairly worn, but gotta match the bar tape and saddle, no?)
brakes: Tektro, I think
Pedals not included.
Prefer to sell complete $950; frame, fork and headset $700.
If this ad is still up, it is still available. Emails asking only if it's still available will be ignored, but please feel free to ask any other questions about the bike.

He didn't even bother to put the decals on in the correct spot!
This is a pretty basic machine, stem shifters, no derailleur hanger, bolt on rear wheel, kickstand plate... maybe a Strada or Classica from around 83, probably worth closer to $100

Casually Deliberate
The seller is either an idiot or very misinformed. The only thing this has in common with a RC bike is the Bianchi name.

Somebody local in west Illinois should snag this $100 Super Course. Heck it's not a bad deal at $150 shipped. Nice crank:

I always ignore anything in any bike ad that says, "fit's between X'Y-inches..." It's stupid and uninformed, IMHO. 99% of sellers are pulling this info out of their asses. Bikes should be listed by frame size. Period. I see that line about fitting certain heights and I think right away that the seller is an idiot.

So what standardized table are they pulling this info out of? Or are they just pulling the numbers out of their blowholes?

Burley
https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bik/4312424007.html
[h=2]Handmade in USA Steel/ Carbon Road Bike, Ultegra, DT Swiss, 58cm - $1500 (Somerville/ Medford)[/h]
Endurance riders, steel bike enthusiasts, and all roadies: take note. Looking to make a serious upgrade on your roadbike, or for the ultimate winter bike? Take out this fantastic custom steel Burly Wolf Creek, hand made in the USA, out for a test ride, you'll love it. The price is more than right because I need to get rid of this thing, so come and get it!
Highest level of precision and craftsmanship, top shelf materials. Precise, work-horse parts spec'. Supremely comfortable, extremely good handling, and durable as can be. That, and most of it is all BRAND NEW. Enough said.
58cm center-to-center. Generally fits a rider between 6"- 6'4". I can help with a basic bike fitting during a test ride: Saddle height, saddle setback, reach, stack, and controls.
Highlights:
-HANDMADE in the USA (Eugene, OR) tig welded XO Platinum steel frame. Burly Designs Wolf Creek model, made in 2006.
-Cannondale Slice 3 Carbon fork. 1 1/8" Steerer, left uncut for a wider range of fit!
-BRAND NEW DT Swiss 1.0 Wheelset, Shimano freehub body.
-Shimano 105 Shifter/ Levers. 2x9 speed.
-Shimano Ultegra rear derailleur, Shimano 105 front derailleur.
-BRAND NEW Shimano 105 Chain, fresh cassette.
-BRAND NEW cables and housing throughout.
-BRAND NEW Truvativ/ Bontrager splined double crankset, 53-39t
-BRAND NEW Specialized stem, 105mm, 6 deg
-NEW Specialized Roubaix carbon seatpost with Zertz insert.
-BRAND NEW Bontrager Race Lite Saddle, Ti rails!
-FSA Bar, 44cm
-BRAND NEW Vredstein Tri-Comp Fortezza Tires, 700x23c, BRAND NEW tubes.
-BRAND NEW Fizik Bartape, the nice stuff, unridden and professionally wrapped.
I ride a size 54cm. I have no use for this thing however nice it is, and believe me, if it were my size I'd be all over it. I have lots of project bikes, and lots of personal bikes that I ride. This bike happens to be my nicest project in the works, and its about time to let it run wild out there. As a professional mechanic, I can assure you that this bike is in perfect working order, and seeing as all the wearable parts as well as all the moving parts are pretty much all brand new, this thing is singing.
Let me know if you have any questions about the build, or if you like more/ higher quality images of the bike. I'm asking $1500, but make me an offer, I have student loans to pay off... I'll even throw in a BRAND NEW set of 700x23c tires in black so you can keep it fresh once the summer's here.
Take a test ride around Porter Square after I take a look at your fit and you'll be throughly impress. Shoot me a text at 781-572- one five zero one, or respond to the add via email.
Thanks for looking!

Less than a day to go and no bids. 1959 Paramount. The 55th Paramount built in the "Classic Era". I think it certainly has some historic significance. Me have no money though, and its my size!!! Someone pick this up, its a beauty.

Are my eyes deceiving me or does the fork look bent to anyone else?
