Someone is selling their collection of bike parts and stuff. Quite large! If I had the space and the time, I'd totally go for it:
Vintage Collection
Vintage Collection
I agree, I don't see $400 there.

Not that anything jumps out from the pictures...but...you will usually need to replace the cables, tires, tubes...and lube up the bearings...that is pretty standard practice for getting a used bike that you plan to ride a lot...or if you are going to flip it...

Vintage Holdsworth Race/Tour bike - $400 (Wiscasset)
Hi, This posting is for a vintage Holdsworth 16 speed bike. It has a Reynolds 531 double butted frame and fork and mostly campy parts, the Ideal saddle I bought in about 1980 for a different bike but it's still nice. I had the wheels built about ten years back and also had allot of work done at that time to complete the build but only rode it for a couple of miles since. It is a really nice bike that is light and has a crazy long wheel base by today's standards, tracks like it's on rails, allot of fun to ride. I am getting older and really only seem to ride my one touring bike for everything so time to face the reality that one bike is enough and let someone who might actually use it have it.

21" (53cm?) 80's Raleigh Competition. $200. Looks to be in great shape. I wouldn't know for sure, but parts look original.

It is a late '80s Super Prestige. I have it completely broke down. It was built with 7 speed Shimano 600. I am trying to decide whether to put that back on, go with 8 speed DA or 9 speed Chorus. There is no problem with sliding in the 8 and 9 speed wheels. I will post pictures once I put it together. I will probably keep it.

Grady, you'll have to get your Sintesi going and we can start a Tommasini ride.

Peugeot Tourmalet. I don't know what it's constructed of, or whether the price is on target, but it does seem to have been well cared for/barely ridden.

This looks expensive ($600), but anyone searching for a Chrome Le Tour 12.2?
Claimed to be 21" / 53 cm, but it looks larger to me.
