You could have had this two weeks ago before they cleaned it up, probably for a lot less. Look for my post with pic in the "At the co-op" thread.

I have that same "Einstein riding a bike" poster hanging in my garage.

Sometimes I think bike prices are recovering. Then I see bikes like these two DeRosas languishing on Craigslist.

Awful pictures, but looks like an excellently priced Bruce Gordon touring bike. Somebody close should check it out. And if you don't want to buy it, maybe you can facilitate.

Components are so so. And that blue fork. But this is a heck of a price for a Bill Holland titanium bike.

And this is the lowest price I've seen in a long time for a Schwinn Paramount chrome bike.

A "lot less" than $50? If it was my size, $50 would be entirely reasonable!

There is no co-op of any kind anywhere around here, (Wilmington NC), so I rarely drop in on the "At the co-op" thread. I posted the particulars of "John's" because it seems like the kind of place I'd volunteer if I was a few hundred miles more near. Kudos to you if you're part of that project, and at the very least for promoting it through these pages!

I've noticed a lot of Minnesota bikes for sale so far over the last few pages...

I would HOPE that Spring is really just around the corner but it sounds like this year the snow is forcing a lot of sales?

Okay, I don't have a facebook page, I quit them a long time ago. So I cannot contact this seller, but I am 10 minutes away in Burnsville, and I am willing to buy this bike RIGHT NOW.

Never mind, it's already gone...

Looks like you're dead-on! It would also explain the genral lack of braze-ons. I guess my bike greed led me astray :]

That $40 single speed is probably a more beat up version of whatever model this was:

Yeah, how could it not be, right? I think the ad was placed last night. I wonder if the buyer actually only paid that asking price... wow.
