Lugged Lemond

Crap pics but assume this Maine CL offering is probably late 80s Billato produced frame and then at some point built up with later ultegra..

That's, what, a 60-tooth big chainring?
It's not a waste on a tandem. Tandems have an aero advantage over singles, and I suppose a triple has an even bigger one if all riders are adults. It's hard to get a top gear that is high enough.

Who said anything about a "waste"? I've ridden enough tandems, and heard enough stories from by two old blind friends in Detroit, on a triple piloted on a triple by my late BIL, to know how fast you can get them spinning.

Link to the actual ad - https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/bik/...909128828.html - Amazing how people can expect to sell something worth three digits, with barely two sentences of description and one photo from the wrong side.

That's a steal! Same seller as the Moto; one could probably make a deal on both.

Gitane tandem for $185 in Columbia, SC - 24-in front, 22-in rear according to seller, so somebody taller than I am might like this for a cheap tandem experience ...

Turns out the bikes are a bit farther away than I thought about 100 miles each way. Since there not my size and i wouldn't be able to readily resale or ship them economically from my current location so I will be passing on getting these. Nice bikes but after thinking a bit about I couldn't really do anything with them.

61cm Austro Dalmer Super Leicht frameset Reynolds 531 handbuilt - $150 (Lowell)

I am selling a late 1970s Austro Dalmer Super Leicht frameset 61cm handbuilt Reynolds 531 frame/fork, Campagnolo chrome drops, and a chrome Tange lugged seatpost. I bought the frame to build up with some modern parts but the frame is a bit too big for my liking. The Super Leicht model was 2nd from the top behind the Ultima model which is a rare ride. This frame will make for any sort of build and the fraction of the cost of a modern steel frame like Soma, Surly etc. Sold for cash and pick up only. Please mention name, item, location, a phone number for a response all other emails or texts will be considered spam and will be ignored. Thanks
