How are those tan lines looking?

This is what I'm working with. The picture doesn't quite capture the full effect.

I need a sleeveless jersey...

The arms are really tan, the center of the chest is a tan fade, the legs are sort of beige.

My legs are tri-colored... mid-shin down is dark, mid-shin up to where my cycling shorts stop is a tab lighter (one day at the lake with my pants rolled shin high :(), the rest is quite pasty...

Being English, and living in the Pacific Northwest, I like remaining a pasty white. However, despite my best efforts, I have gotten my arms tanned :( .

My legs have remained a delightful dead fish belly colour, though!

I haven't worried with getting a uniform tan in the last 10 or more years - I just don't care anymore. Even at the beach I generally stay in the shade and make little effort to even my tan or whatever. I feel it's safer for me skin-wise, but I appear to be totally tanned out when I'm in a t-shirt and shorts.

My wife made me buy longer swim trunks because what used to be a "running shorts" tan has become a "biking shorts" tan. I've got a tri-tank tan up top, but no white spots. I cut the grass sans shirt, and then fell asleep at the pool, so what isn't tanned appears boiled.

The true C&V biker tan includes speckled-backed hands from the knit gloves.
