Brooks Professional S Saddle

Ok so my friend was over for dinner and he was looking at one of my old bikes, and he said that my saddle was extremely rare now. So i took it off and went on Amazon and Ebay and saw pretty much the same saddle going for like $200 NEW so i was like holy poop!.

anyways, its a Brooks Professional S, and i was just wondering what you guys think i could get for this. Its quite older than the ones on Ebay and in worse condition. here are the links, tell me what you guys think

It's seen better days, so getting $200 might be tough. However, install and enjoy. It'll be the most comfortable saddle you've ever ridden.

The 'S' model was manufactured as a women's saddle, so that'll hurt resale a bit, too.

The "S" means it's a ladies' saddle. They sell for way less than $200 new.

it Is very comfy and anyways, do you guys think i could still get like $50 for it?

Probably, but will you be able to find a comfortable replacement for $50? I'd say if you like it and can use it, keep it!

lol well its just heavy and it was on a really old girls pacific mountain bike i got from a junk day for free. I bought the saddle at a town garage sale for $8 and just slapped it on that bike. it didnt even go with the bike just looked retro and so it stuck. I would put it on my roadbike but the seat on that already goes with it. and its too heavy for my fixie plus it doesnt go with the scheme. i dont even ride the old pacific anymore so i dont think it worthy of this seat. so should i put it up on ebay, craigslist, or amazon?

Considering a saddle to match the comfort of that would cost you around $100+ - be a MAN. Ride a women's saddle. We can discuss a cycling-purse to match your shoes later...

Too heavy for your fixed gear?? You are already saving weight without gears and possibly brakes, so whats a few grams in the saddle matter? I can understand the aesthetic argument though.
