Looking for Simplex front derailleur for 73 Raleigh Supercourse

I still have my Supercourse from 1973 and got it back in very good working order with the exception of the front derailleur system. Can anyone help me locate one?

Thanks!!

I have bought a lot of parts from that seller and my experience has been 100% positive. Look at his feedback rating.

That original Simplex Prestige model was/is notorious for having the plastic crack at different locations in the clamp, such as at the bolts, I have several, couple taken off Raleigh Supercourses, and they are all cracked! I had one that just arbitrarily cracked while in lying in my tool box, maybe from the humidity, who knows?

There was a model with a metal clamp, I presume it was because of that cracking. I broke one or two of those clamps back in the day. I have at least one with the metal clamp, but it's earmarked for my PX-10E build. I do see them on Ebay fairly often.

The Velo Orange Simplex derailer is far superior, as is most everything.

Thanks, Dirtdrop! I will also look for a used one too, and see if there is one available, somewhere.
