Hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like it could have been spray painted with headset, seatpost, and bb installed--not an ideal makeover, and definitely a deal breaker.

I don't see a left side crank... the picture is bad but i think if it was there it would be visible...

Brifters, and QR's on both wheels...the fork looks like an asian cheapo

If anyone can tell you a make and model based on that picture, they're lying to you.

For a $100, it might be worth it based on appearance of brifters, what look to be dual pivot calipers--at least in the front--and possibly a decent wheelset and saddle. But keep in mind: you'll be buying parts, not a bike. This thing is going to need some serious work.

If you're interested, call and ask. If it was a "custom" deal...find out what the frame material is and what components are on it. The fellow doesn't seem too "in tune" with cycling, or he would have provided a make & model name and/or specs.
