More daccordi

I have a daccordi turbo frame with the number 585 on the bottom bracket, which I suspect means it was produced may of 1985 (it looks about right). It has internal routing for the rear brake cable, a fluted top tube, and "turbo" pantographed in several places.

I was told by the seller that it took a 27.2 seatpost, however my seatpost (which is 27.2) is not fitting very easily at all. I can get it in and out with some muscle and twisting, but it makes me uncomfortable to do so.

I think that perhaps the tube has ovalized at the lug, and that's whats causing the squeeze, but I don't have any tool accurate enough to test this theory. Does anyone know where I might be able to confirm this dimensions? Anyone own one of these?

And lastly, how would you go about correcting an ovalized tube? Or do you just shove the post in there and be patient while it slowly warps back.

Thanks

Looks a lot like this, however this one doesn't seem to have the fluted top tube or internal routing...
