Aero Lever Comparison: RL340, R200, SCR-5

Just got the Tektro RL340 (successor to the R200) and I must say, they're quite unsatisfactory. Rubber is comfortable but the shape is unappealing, almost ugly. My biggest problem with them is that the lever themselves have significant play in comparison to my Shimano Exage aero and Cane Creek SCR-5. Quick release on one rattles.

Has anyone ordered these levers and had the same issues? Searching the forums, I've read that the R200 are the SCR-5 but I'm wary of Tektro after my experiences with the RL340. Does anyone have a few of these levers to compare? I like the Cane Creeks but I have them in black and don't fit the look
