Ross Mixte frame... bottom bracket?

I picketed up this old frame and would like to build a single speed for my girl. I have some square taper 160 mm cranks (fits 103mm JIS) that I'd like to put on this bike. the bb tube length is 68mm. But i have a feeling the bottom bracket threads are ISO not JIS. How can I tell? What bb should I be shopping for? Can I make these cranks fit on an ISO bb if need be? Anybody suggest a specific bb for this bike?

ISO/JIS for the BB refers to the taper of the spindle, not the threads. You need a 103/68mm JIS bottom bracket. Shimano probably makes one that would work fine, say a UN-54 or equivalent. JIS is the current standard so it is often omitted from the spec sheet on new parts. Just make sure you get a 103mm length spindle that fits a 68mm BB shell and you should be fine.
