identify this chrome bike, Reynolds 531, Unique drilled Campy crank

I am looking at buying this old road bike. I was told it has a suntour cyclone rear derailleur, and campy record rims (or hubs?). It's reynolds 531 fork blades. Campy crank. They are asking $375. Does anyone know what this is, or what it's worth? Also, what kind of crank is that?

Your pictures are not really helping....

It looks like a campy clone....

Looks vaguely British...

Does not look like it is worth close to $375

I just realized the pics i posted were smaller than the ones on the original post. weird. Here's a link to bigger pics

pics still small...need more details, close ups of frame joints, etc.
Front fork may be bent back, hard to tell from the too small pics.

yea I didn't think that would help, worth a try. I wish he would of posted better pics

The seller doesn't know what he has. It's steel and chrome plated. It's not aluminum. It's possible that he's either undervaluing or overvaluing. You cannot get information from the seller, and you may be better off NOT asking him further questions. If you can go visit it, take high quality pictures, and post them, we can give you better help. As I said, it may be undervalued, and it probably is (which is why you should keep your mouth shut) but we can't tell yet.

I agree with noglider,I dont think seller has a clue, you could be onto a winner here,if there,s a chance of getting it cheaper I say go for it,if its near you,go see,and yes,I think it looks English too good luck !

OMG! I haven't seen one of those for years. Are you saying you didn't get on that like white on rice? Do you know what Japanese collectors pay for those?

Just pulling your chain. :D

I couldn't make anything from your original pic and while it's possible the bike was a rare beauty, probably not.
