Kind of interesting, but I have my doubts about 1200 miles on a gaspipe singespeed schwinn with a coaster brake. Thoughts? Amusements? Anything?

I have my doubts, too... that airstream has got to be heavy. Really cool, though!

You guys need to read "Travels with Lucy"

https://www.amazon.com/Chris-Buerkis-.../dp/B0006RYF44

and then remark on the 1200 mile thing. I know Chris Buerkis personally and if you were to meet him you would realize most of doing something is to just do it.

BTW, love the little trailer thing!

Mike

I believe it, since I've seen 65 year old men hauling up hills like nothing with a basket full of groceries. I guess they were made tougher back then. Hell, I normally haul over 100 lbs on my bikes and man am I now so grateful for my Surly with a triple crank(Thanks John).

That was my first thought, as well. cool idea, and nice to have a trailer along with you..... but no thanks. I'll pitch a tent and avoid claustrophobia.

I guess these trailers went out of fashion when backpacking tents and panniers were invented.

When your bike is 40 pounds, what's an extra 30?

I think an ultralight frame trailer that could convert to a hammock stand would suit me better.
