Custom bike by Franklin Frames

I am interested in a custom frame and like the idea of supporting a local builder so I am considering Franklin Frames in rural central Ohio. A search of the forums returned a couple of threads discussing the quality of Jack's work, but most of the comments were around repairs/repaints. One thread in particular had a photo of a built up Franklin and links to a photo site that has been moved or deleted.

Anyone have feedback or good photos of a Franklin built frame.

Thanks.

2+ years old and I've never felt the need to even think about getting another ride-everyday-bike.
You won't be dissapointed.

Thanks for posting - that was one of the pic's I saw, but in the old post it was much smaller. Appreciate the larger version. Did you do the build yourself?

Yep.
Jack installed the headset and BB (which I supplied).
For some reason I had a thing for 600 components.
I have since put on DA 7400 series der's and am using Simplex Retrofriction shifters now.
I also figured out how to post BIG pics recently, now I need to figure out meduim size pics.

Wow, that looks great. I have a friend that took his Eisentraut to Jack for a repair and repaint, he is happy with the work and says the price was very reasonable. I am under the impression FF is just a man in his barn, is that correct?

Yes, it's just him and a barn and it's not really easy to find.
He told me he sends the frames out to be chromed but does the polishing himself.
Thanks for the compliments!
kpotkotter - get one - prices are more than reasonable for a custom made frame.

Thanks, Malcom. Any chance you're on the NW side or near OSU? I'm in Dublin and work on campus - would love to see your Franklin in person - it's beautiful.

Anyone else have photos of their Franklin?
